I was thinking of Nollywood now crawling away from home video to the big screen. But with the just a handful of theatres nationwide would it be a good thing to invest in building a theatre? My first thought was yes, but on second thought going to the movies was never a Nigerian tradition and as such it would be hard to keep the seats constantly filled. Then the present and most likely the followig generations find it normal to watch movies on their ehmmm....micro phone screens...and for free! This makes me think it would not be a good investment. You? |
