In addition, it's better if you don't pick a course from the health sciences as your 2nd and 3rd choice, because there'll be a lot of people who picked it as a 1st choice and who'll be considered first. |

Chiamaka01:Good. If at the end of the whole program, my overall score isn't up to the cut off for medicine but is more than that of, say, dentistry or pharmacy or nursing, will I be given admission for any of these 3 or rather the course I chose as my second choice from the Faculty of science? |

sazy:What you need to understand about the Physical Sciences(ie courses associated with the CMP subject combination) is that you have quite a good range of ecomomically relevant courses that you can fill under each choice (ie 1st,2nd and 3rd choice) however we still follow the same pattern BCP students use in choosing courses. The pattern is thus; A subject of high cut-off(from previous years and speculation from that year) as first choice. A subject of lower cut-off as second choice. A subject from the set of subjects having the lowest cut-offs as third choice (usually subjects that stay on 60 consistently every year) |

For the 2013/2014 predegree session,this was our list of cut-off marks. Make your choice from the list. NB: Don't be scared to make a mistake for now, you'll still be given an opportunity to change it but nevertheless, it's good to know the right thing and do it right from now, it will save you stress. Also, this cut-off list will change, be sure about that because the same number of people that wanted to do elect/elect engr for example won't choose to do it this year. That's a fact.

Hmmmm back then during my secondary school days i thot entering uni was going to be simple little did i knw twas "survival of the fittest" i wrote 2014/2015 jamb and post jamb, i applied for medicine in uniuyo but my name wasnt on the list, i applied again for medicine and surgery in uniuyo foundation program (thats pregree), stil waiting for the result but am hoping God answers my prayers by making me pass that exams tho twasnt tof but we had lots of competition with over hundreds of students applyin for medicine in the pregree program so it seems am on the same boat with you guys tho sailing a different coast my dream is to be in med school, get my mbbs and work as an obstetrician/gynaecologist and marry a girl from Abu dhabi or dubai and have 8 female children sorry for intruding on oau predegree space |
