Honorable Member of the Federal house of Representative Dino Melaye wrote the following on his Facebook page to explain why a former Head of State, Muhammadu Buhari, could not afford the N27 million APC presidential form.

I read online the question a lady asked. The question is how can Buhari who earns over 300million Naira yearly claim that he can not afford to pay 27million Naira for the APC presidential form. I became interested and decided to investigate. I went to the ministry of Finance where I discovered that it is true that all former Presidents and Head of states actually get 23million Naira monthly.

But I found out that General Buhari actually wrote the minister of Finance to reject the N23million monthly pay. He said in his letter that he will only accept 10 percent or that amount which is N2.3million and that is what he has been taking.

This is just to clear the air. What a Nigerian! what class of integrity! God please make us men and women of integrity. Amin.

If the above as there are no contrary fact, the man called Gen Buhari should be commended because if I have to be in his shoe (make I no lie), I will never think "not to talk of" writing a letter for reduction in my pension/salary as far as it conform to the current policy and law.
Buhari is actually equal honesty and integrity, this latest fact (as long as it is true) gave credence to it.

When did he write the ministry? If he did it just of recent, it's the confession of a dying man, it is valueless. If he has done that for a while.... I wish Mr open teeth the best.

If the same was said about IBB, OBJ and GEJ it would have been unbelieveable but GMB, I am not surprised. No sane corrupt political office holder (old/new) would ever want GMB to rule Nigeria.
Imagine governors, senators, honourables and presidency collecting 10% of their salary now as new salary under GMB government. The surplus can be used to create jobs for millions of idle graduates and youths but stomach infrastructure will not allow the same youth to vote out the same greedy and corrupt politicians
