The victim was the boy.
The witness/youngest was the girl.
The accomplice was the father.
The killer was the mother.

The murderer was the mother.
The victim was the son.
The father helped the murderer.
The daughter (youngest) was the witness.

Explanation: The father is the oldest, since the oldest and the witness cannot be of the same sex hence the witness is a female.
The witness and who helped the murderer are not of the same sex hence the person who helped the murderer is male. The person who helped the murderer is older than the victim (hence the father cannot be the victim). The father is either the murderer or helped the murderer.

Taking the last known fact: the youngest person (the son or daughter) and the victim (son, daughter or mother)are not of the same sex will give us three possibilities
1, daughter is youngest and son is victim: this leave us with the option that the father helped the murderer (the person who helped the murderer is male) and the daughter is the witness (because the youngest cannot be the murderer). The mother was the murderer.

2, son is youngest and the daughter is victim: this leaves us with the option that mother is witness and father is murderer and the son helped the murderer but the person that helped is older than the victim. Hence wrong.

3, son is youngest and Mother is victim: this leaves us with the option that daughter is witness and father is murderer and the son helped the murderer but the person that helped is older than the victim. Hence wrong.

Hence option 1 is the right answer.
