I've read and reread still can't understand
Explain in plain words, how to get CWM, already have the recovery image file, flashing it seems pretty easy.

My real dilemma is CWM and backing up of ROM.

I don't even suggest gionee stock KitKat it's buggy

even gionee stock KitKat for gionee p4 they hard brick p4

the best ROM for gionee m2 is the Hive ui and its also 4.4.2 KitKat and bugless...

I flashed it for someone yesterday and it was great

Yeah.......Hive ROM smooth on jb, don't wipe anything just flash and flash heating fix, camera plus WiFi and flash kingsu to root

sorry bro it doesn't.. Buh in the display settings of the hive ui there is va theme options there you can check that
