Being a lecturer is a different thing entirelly.. Some one dat crammed to get a 1st class will be a flop lecturer..

I dont see how a person dat crammed to get 1st class is exceptional... But for those dat know, dey can be said to b exeptional

i dnt tink ur ryt.becoz if it were to b me i wil prefer goin for lecturer dan d otherwise.in lecturin u wil opportuned for many tins e.g.writin of books,novel nd even engaged in personal business..so i dnt tink any 1st class holder bein given d opportunity to lecturer wnt accept d opportunity

Short answer: YES.
If you go through some of my older posts, I've explained the reason for this (hint: poor funding).

However, thank God things haven't become as bad as your post suggests: by my reckoning, most new lecturers (in federal universities) are 2.1, rather than 2.2. I cannot recall a single 2.2 being employed in my department in the last decade.

thanks for d response sir. i was comparing d ratio of 2.2 lecturers to first class but i knew d majority r usually those who made a 2.1
