I was at the Students Affairs Building of the Institution three days ago to Lodge a complaint, I was given Agriculture. Am I that dumb in the brain that I wasn't offered at least SLT, which nevertheless am not going to study. The petit man in the room, room 1 to be precise, is a very ill mannered man, I sat outside in the company of a man, an Alhaji and his son. 30 minutes later, the Alhaji went in with his son, the Alhaji told the boy to wait outside(why, they wanna discuss reel business), but the man(admissions officer) told the boy to come in and shut the door behind him. I sat close to the door and I heared as the Admissions officer gave the boy a form to fill...
...............about 25minutes later as they were coming out(Alhaji and Son), a lecturer of Biology( I knew him because he taught me during Pre-degree) hurridly came in through the main door. The Alhaji then asked the Lecturer if he had done what the Admissions Officer told him to do(What?...pay a certain amount into his account). To which he said he has done...they did all the trash which they would do and I finally stepped in to Lodge my complaint.
....The best they told me was to go to my Father's state Ondo, that catchment area disqualified me
I was expecting something like this nevertheless and was tired of LAUTECH, the pain, the struggles, the cold, the tension....I am not regretting at all, neither do I consider myself a failure. LAUTECH to me was just a detour.

In everything I am thankful, I've still got breath in my nostrils...LAUTECH just spurred us on to success. They are unfortunate for not having us, we are not after any course, we are a people on a mission...being a Professor of Surgery doesn't follow the path of studying Agriculture. They can keep the degree for themselves.

@ horpeyemmi66, wat a rili heart pouring post, I know how u feel cos even my friend feel d same way abt been given agric instead of medicine cos I don't even c it correlating in anyway bt also its nt only in lautech dat such is done, its in most university of which shouldn't b, y shud dere b discrimination of catchment area.... Dere shudnt even b any discrimination, one shud b given d course he craves for if nt a related course. I'll still advice u to go 4it, cos it might nt even b ur way it might b God speaking cos no one knows tomorrow.
