D few dat hate gej are so vocal and desperate and d constant thing abt them is dat they are always in a frenzy, as if to rule a multi ethnic, multi religious country na small thing. When una dey curse am and cry for his head, una no dey ever mention who una want that is better to replace him! Pls the quiet and decerning nigerians who wants gej bak in preference to other contestants are in the majority, even tho they dont say a word or post a comment or participate in e-voting and nl-liking! An empty vessel makes d loudest noise. Now ya'll,since u cant see beyond yur nose, hold ya mouths! |

InglishTeechar:It better to keep shut and let people think you are a fool than speak and clear all doubts, My local government chairman is not responsible for the Federal Republic of Nigeria, it is Ebele that is responsible, as long as him and his cronies ruin this country through unbridled corruption, the least they can do is to provide security |

Oletty:You my friend are seeing the light. What you say makes sense: And that too much power is concentrated in Abuja is the bane of holding the President responsible for all and sundry mishaps. The Army are the one that destroyed the Nigerian regionality. Sai Aguinyi for introducing unitary government. Thanks Babangida and Abacha for totally corrupting Nigeria. The Nigerian situation is a delicate one however, because if you have powerful regional leaders on the other hand, they would feel like a Demigod a la Ahmadu Bello or Emeka Ojukwu, and that's where the problem lies. We got to balance the act of giving the regions more autonomy without creating a situation we had in the 60ies in Nigeria and Congo Kinshasha. Nevertheless, power must be devolved from the center, and policing Nigeria must not solely reside in the hands of the federal Govt anymore. For a start, they can make the Presidency a kind of collegiate whereby the President is selected/elected among the collegiate members. It would certainly reduce the tension and focus on the office the President, and the chance of more ethnicities smelling the office would increase similarly. |
