Beautifully typed. Now, that's your opinion and that's obviously because it's your mother tongue. As for me, English is the simplest language, because that's the language i was brought up with.
lets leave English out of dis...Yoruba, hausa, igbo...which is d simplest?

Actually, in secondary school, most people had the opinion that hausa was the simplest to learn and a lot of yoruba people took hausa classes.

Sis, I'm a Yoruba boy and believe me...that Language is hard. Your Lagos yoruba is deceiving you grin Go to Oyo town and see pure, unadulterated yoruba. You'll run!

I agree with Chiamaka on this one. I stayed in the North for a very short time. Hausa is easy. Deji can explain better.
The only problem is that igbo is the most difficult to learn. With all their innuendos and dangerous stressing of parts of syllables. embarassed

Because you are one

a) Wrong question.
b) Being half-igbo may have influenced that statement.
c) I was forced to take yoruba classes in JSS1 and the reason i passes the exam was because majority of us were non-Yorubas and the invigilator translated the questions and options for us. But when i took Igbo classes later on, i did better than some pure Igbos.
