Why Was Gaddafi Killed by Nobody: 3:46pm On Nov 13, 2014
During the time Gaddaffi was killed, I had little to no knowledge about him nor the country, even now I still don't.

But curiosity took the better of me today, I was idle and i just remembered him and how he was killed like a chicken in the street of his own country. So I googled.... why was Gaddafi killed..

I searched and to be honest all i saw was articles... comments disapproving the killing of this man! I don't still know why he was killed.

And did his killing help Libya?

Yeah I stumbled on a lot of stuffs online where all his achievements were listed. And honestly at a point a questioned the facts till i dived further and was convinced, cos even the West acknowledged them...strangely some forums from the west condemned his killing and praised his work and mentioned that the US government couldn't achieve what he achieved.

From what I read they stood by him...its just the minorities and some rebels( which is claimed to have been sponsored by some influential enemies from outside) that destroyed him. But couldn't African nations who were allies help...cos seriously its absurd the way someone just get killed like that just because 'They' can do whatever they like. i mean this can happen to anyone.

A source even have it that he refused to donate to sarkozy election out of his stubbornness and then france mobilised against him.
Its also reported that 70% of the countries oil is now controlled by france.
Go well mr gadaffi and may posterity judge your already distabilised country

The same events unfolded in Iraq, and is currently taking course in Syria.......sometimes if you feel a system is bad, so far as it works,,,,the best approach is to leave it alone. Libya was doing very fine althou nor under a democratically elected Government. Can you compare libya under Aurhoritarism to Nigeria under democrasy?..............Now lybia is a mess and a breeding ground for islamic extremist....Iraq was also stable until the U.S invaded and destroy the working formula for the country, now ISIS is ravaging the country.

Oil well! Op, even I too had little or no knowledge. The only thing I knew then was he clunging to power as his birth. It was a case of backstabbing, some of his military officials and some rebel groups were supported, armed and turned against him. Before the uprising, I do not know any humanitarian crimes committed by colonel Gaddafi. The way he was killed was quite unfortunate. When Lauren Gbagbo upheld and turned election results in cot de'voire and refuses to resign, he was not killed, he was arrested and I think still facing his charges.

'' has his death helped Libya?'' libya is in tatters! worse than all the years ruled by Gaddafi. Same way the death of Saddam hussain didn't helped Iraqis and same way the resignation of Hosni Mubarak has not helped or solved Egypt's problems.

I came across something like that but it was in another form. It was said Gaddafi funded Sarkozy..and because Sarkozy didn't want pple to find out abt it that may be the reason y France spearheaded the attack on him. Also Gaddafi controlled Libya oil in a way that it developed the country and didn't favour the so called 'big guns'.

I just believe these people just want the third world countries to be slaves and dependent on them forever. Cos as you mentioned the system was working for Libya but now it seems Libya has to start all over again!

I believe they didn't av any strong case against this man that's y they probably executed him without a trial... cos if u come to think of it he deserved to be trialed and they probably felt that they didn't av any thing strong enough to convict him. /just my tot/

But do you know that there were over 1.8 million non Libyans in Libya during the time of Gaddafi. As in some seeked asylum while some migrated there cos they heard the good he was doing. I mean seriously how will people in their right sense migrate to a country that the leader is said to have been violating human rights or whatsoever, this shows to prove that the man was only doing good but his good didn't favour the 'big men in control of the world' Jews included!

Chad basin crude reserves.

The oil wells are estimated to hold the largest reserves ever found. Larger than Saudi reserves and almost twice of that of the largest reserves of Russia.

It's not just finding and drilling that is important but shipping it.

Gaddafi could not be relied upon to have this critical trans Saharan pipeline running through his country up to the Mediterranean coast. This after all is the same Gaddafi that was the first to nationalize oil and make it a national treasure prior to which BP was drilling wells in Saudi and just paying a token. This same Gaddafi also wanted to stop collecting worthless dollars in exchange for Libyan oil. He proposed gold instead.

Boko Haram is active in the NE to create a fog of war and displace people from their land by which time according to their plan of balkanizing Nigeria, the oil companies will have access to depopulated oil fields and a friendly northern government like that of the Saudi royal family.

This is a very interesting point. Its same thing I mentioned to a friend that this terrorist group in Nigeria is sent to cause mayhem and possibly give way to our oil being accessed one way or the other(I don't really av a strong knwledge of this).

Bt my major concern for Nigeria is the way we have been having the Isreals around us...I just do not like it, I just have this bad harbinger abt them which is normal cos we all knw what they r capable of. I rather we deal with the Asians than with the Jews. I don't know if anyone gets my point!

That seem to be what I keep hearing, that the rebels were sponsored from international community. And it makes sense...y...cos sometime this year I read a lil bit of the history of Malcom x. This was a man who from his youth was wayward and indulged in all sort of shameful acts. Long story short, after he became popular and repented, he became a black activist and spoke for muslims. My point here is that a CIA was sent to infiltrate the nation of islam(a muslim group he belonged to) and it was also said the CIA knew that Malcom x was to be assasinated/I persnally blv that's his mission there/.

Point being that whenever a black man rise up to make Africans or black independent and free from the white-slavery mentality, 'They' would find a way to break his spirit...e.g Nelson Mandella. And when a black man who is also a muslim trys same thing, the headline you'll see later is that he is a terrorist and b4 u knw it his end would come. I mean its not like they themselves are saints and r pure from violating human rights.
