Boko Haram Militants Retake Chibok Again by Nobody: 11:48am On Nov 14, 2014
slamist militant group Boko Haram has returned to Chibok Township in Borno state, the scene of its most celebrated notorious kidnapping of over 200 high school girls in April 2014.

This time, the sect militants reportedly killed an unspecified number of villagers.

The rest of the villagers had escaped through bush parts and headed to Damboa after Nigerian troops fled the village.

Residents who spoke to SaharaReporters said the sect militants had arrived last night and began shooting randomly before heading to the village center to announce it has taken it over as part of its Islamist caliphate.

Boko Haram militants Thursday evening attacked Chibok town in Borno state. The insurgents abducted over 200 schoolgirls in April from the community and are yet to be released.

Chairman of Chibok Community in Abuja, Sambido Hosea Bana, who confirmed the incident to Daily Trust said members of Boko Haram fleeing from Vigilantes' attack in Mubi had captured seven Chibok villagers who had gone to Askira to make phone calls.

Mr Bana said by evening, the militants had made it to Chibok, about 80 kilometers from Mubi. After Boko Haram fighters entered the town, most villagers fled for dear lives, he said.

He, however said the casualty figure and extent of damage done in the town was yet uncertain as those who spoke to him about the Boko Haram's second attack on Chibok did so after fleeing the town.

Sahara Reporters have reported successes of the Nigerian Army as well. The Chibok situation is easy to prove.

I'm tired of hearing of casualties here and there, obviously I'm beginning to lose sympathy for the victims since its gradually becoming a norm.

Though evil may prevail, but its only for a while, justice will always have its cause.

Abeg, the state government should help mobilize the hunters and vigilantes to thwart BH occupation of villages. Now we know who the enemies are.

UPDATE . . ...........

apparently the Chibok community warned about this attack

http://leadership.ng/news/390271/chibok-community-raises-alarm-impending-attack

The vice chairman of the Chibok community in Abuja, Mutah Nkeki has raised the alarm on the impending attack on the Chibok community in Bornu State.

Speaking with the #BringBackOurGirls group in Abuja yesterday, Nkeki said his people in Chibok have received information on a planned attack and take over of the town because it is the only secured town in that area.

“I received a call from our people at Chibok that they got information that the Boko Haram sect members were coming to attack Chibok. Our peolple were frightened. Everybody was looking for where to hide. We, here in Abuja could not sleep. We were all worried but we thank God that this morning, we were told that our people were safe,” Nkeki explained.

He however called on the federal government and the security agents to help protect the community and the people of Chibok as the community has suffered a lot in the hands of the insurgents and may not survive another attack.

It would be recalled that on April 14, this year, the insurgents succeeded in abducting over 200 girls in the Government Secondary School, Chibok.

and up until now, the government and the security agents are yet to rescue these girls.

Also, with the wave of insurgency ‎across the Northeast, and the taking over of major cities like Mubi recently; town like Chibok is at the mercy of the terrorists.
