How do some old men and women called their son or daughter mate "Daddy and Mummy" all in the name of Pastor is it right?

It depends for me. If I see him as a father figure to me then fine.

It means 'Daddy in the Lord'. Just like 'sister in the Lord' and 'brother in the Lord'.
Age is not a factor and I don't see anything wrong with it.
