Nairalanders please help. For the past three days I found that when I type w in a word on my keyboard, it keeps repeating w over and over, till i backspace it, making it impossible to use the system. I thought it was the keyboard, so I bought a. brand new keyboard but the problem persists.

Can anyone suggest what's wrong and what to do before some technician lay their hands on it.

Could be a virus

Make sure it ain't dust or some tiny particles underneath ur keyboard.. Mine was like..just blow in some air to remove dust or sandy particles..

Bro, if U̶̲̥̅̊'ve dusted it aπϑ its still d same, d best thing †☺ do is †☺ replace it with another one. #nothing else#.. aπϑ sometimes, it might be affected by virus..scan ur system aπϑ if it still persist..U̶̲̥̅̊ can format it...but most øƒ the time, its always the keyboard.

OP, I have had similar problem b4.. Just try to reinstall ur windows and the rest is history
