Well I believe all who are still in this race are competent enough to stand an AC if that be the next stage. I'm only saying that it is unprofessional for a world class organisation as NLNG to keep applicants waiting this long to conclude what should normally be a simple straightforward process. A big body like nlng should know what they want and if this recruitment exercise is in line with their business strategy one would expect that it would have been well thought out and proper structures put in place to address whatever challenges(ebola or what not) may come their way.

What I'm saying is that it will be cruel if after all this wait the company will dash a candidates hopes because they still have to select further. I wouldn't wish anyone that kinda fate.
bros it won't be cruel anything... They won't even have remorse for doing that. So u better prepare hard.

Nlng2014:
It must really be difficult for some who are expecting so much from this experience....

You might be uneasy because you are not informed, however i am yet to find an employer who communicates all or part of its internal process/decisions/challenges to its applicant(s). Take for example recently an interview was conducted for the experienced cadre which had about 34 open positions. This interview spanned about 1 month in PH with the panel which had about 8 -10 people participating and later broke into 2 panels in order to meet up with the schedule for the exercise. And this recent exercise is yet to be completed. Internal challenges in a world class organization also occurs, and as an organization which holds integrity as one of its values, it would rather postpone and postpone the process if it means that the process will not be compromised.

'One of the truest test of integrity is in its blunt refusal to compromise'- Chinua Achebe

Suggesting that you would be called directly for medicals is wishful thinking, nothing wrong in that but if the above quote has anything to do with this exercise i would suggest you think again.
this is the most sensible post av seen on this thread in a long while... No offense

Well to me it's cruel and I believe I am still entitled to my own opinion. Worry not about the intensity of my preparation....no matter how hard we all prepare it's still a selection process and some will not make it in the end. Thats the annoying fact!

In advanced countries and some multinational company conduct their recruitment in span of two days. first day known as AC included Face to face interview, brainstorming, Aptitude test, and case study study/presentation. second day to release the result of AC , medical check up and final result. the benefit of this method is to save cost and time for the both parties.

I pray one day Nigeria will pratices this new method.

Usually I only give out information that is in the public domain.

Today I stumbled on some information that's not out there. I'm in a moral dilemma here.

It has to do with dates.

Just PM the info..

Then I'll tell the hopefuls..

That's if it even comes at all. If NLNG cancels the entire graduate recruitment process we will not do anything. So when/if ever they are ready they should send their invites.
Airsaylong, practicing is not a bad idea, but morale is very low for such a thing at the moment.
Dplacement, pls post whatever you have, no matter how vague the info is, its still info and will be taken into consideration by those who have no other 'sauce'. Thanks.
As for me and my house, anytime NLNG calls is just perfect.
