Dakuku Peterside Emerges APC Governorship Candidate In Rivers by Nobody: 3:19pm On Nov 26, 2014

Reports coming from Rivers state has it that the All Progressives Congress in the state has selected a consensus candidate to run for the 2015 Governorship election.

DAILY POST gathered that elders of the APC in the state settled for the Lawmaker representing Andoni-Opobo-Nkoro at the Federal House of Representatives, Dakuku Peterside to run for the exalted position.

Report available to DAILY POST says the other favourite, Senator Magnus Abe was at the meeting when the decision to select Peterside was reached.

For as long as he is not PDP candidate, he should just forget about being the governor of Rivers State by 2015.
A man that can not even win his polling booth let alone wining his LGA.
APC just dey mumu themselves for Rivers State.
Anyway, he can be Rivers State online governor like their Buhari - Online President.

I would have loved it if Magnus Abe had emerged the chosen one. Anyway, the party knows better. Besides Andoni, Opobo, Tai, Eleme, Gokana and Khana are from the same senatorial zone. The representation of the zion has been between Opobo and Ogoni since 1999. Abe may just have to go back to the Senate.

Hmmm Dakuku, Ogoni, ijaw etc will definitely kick against this arrangeee, they will be like why is Rivers state governed by Igbo speaking people? Anyway at the end of the day Apc will definitely lose cos they don't have structure. All the best to Peterside.
