The best alternative is not to build such infrastructure in the North. It's too dangerous up there, the risks are far too great.

The solution to vandalism does not lie in running away from it.
Even that Niger republic pipeline "MAY" eventually be vandalized by Boko Haram!

If there is vandalism, the solution is to "secure and prevent" it. There are people trained and competent in doing that.

What l am on about is that we cant place projects that have significant national Security issues, in the hands of foreigners.
It portends danger.... in the future.
