Get at least 3gb RAM,2.4ghz processor ,120gb hard disk.
Make sure you partition the hard disk incase your operating systems goes bad.
Strong battery, avoid flashy laptops(I always call DELL)

Probably Dell M4600. It's a 2011 release, fully packed monster and it's depreciated well. So prices are now affordable.
It was about $4000 on launch, but can now be got for about $500.00
NB: The 9 cell battery does not pack any punches, so an extra battery or 2, would be advisable, if power supply is an issue.
