There has been an ongoing rumor that we won't participate in the Presidential election, out of curiosity i just want to confirm?

No they re not..just batch B and C..was told that at the orientation camp..

How will the batch B and C corpers interested be selected for the exercise? Do we have to apply tru d general online application going on now,or all corpers interested will have their names taken down in their nearest local government or what?

The 2015 general Elections will be mandatory for both the batch B and C, you will go through a 3 days training exercise in January(you will also be paid for the training) before the Election proper.

OK tnx. But my question now is,do we need to fill the online presently being filled on inec's site or we need to wait till when inec will contact all corpers for the training or what?

No, you don't. While in camp (batch B stream2) an NYSC official while addressing us in a lecture said you been a corp member qualifies you automatically to partake in the election process. So no need applying online.

Anybody with an idea of how much corpers will be paid? Or perhaps how much corpers were paid during the 2011 elections?

I just confirmed from someone who did it in 2011. She said 7k per election day.
