A smile would make my day.
A smile would take away the pains and sorrow.
What would the day be if the sun never did smile at it?
How would the body feels like if the breeze hadn't make the hair strand sing for joy?
The ground did smile and breathe forth a new grown plant.
The rain fell down just because the heavens collapsed itself into smiles of its darkness.
A new day was born just because the night passed away smiling.
A life was born and the whole world rejoice at its bringing forth.
Yes.. ........ The lady in red did gave me a reason to smile.


I can't hide the joy it did brought to mah heart.
The laughter to my cheek bones.
Can't even understand the emotions running in my spine?
All this I can't understand,
Finding the right was to express what I felt.
Looking for the right words to put the feelings down.

What a joy I can't hide.
Just like the little children having a Christmas candy.
Like the lion devour its prey.
The joy the vultures ozz out when having a meal of carcass.
The smile you see when the hawker sees hold-ups on the major highway.

I fell into a trance.
A trance that brings back memories.

Why can't I let these thoughts go away?

A lion can let go of its pride.
These thoughts sticks to the apron of my mind.
Married to me like a new bride.

Not wanting to let go because of how fresh it keeps coming back.
Though I wanted to say goodbye to those colonial days.
Wanted the rain to wash off those memories.
But, am stuck between these two worlds.

These worlds that kept wrestling for my spirits.
Am a slave to these thoughts.
Not free because this cycle keep repeating itself.

This is my dilemma, this is my cross;
I have to carry it alone.

Standing by the seashore,
Fixing my gaze at nature.
Just like the lion gazed at its prey,
Looking for the best opportunity to strike,
So also I got carried away by the turbulence of the waves.
Watching with excitement how the waves is being formed.
Giving its sound like that of a mighty earthquake.


Taking a closer look at nature in its best form.
Still wondering the diversity of nature,
How easy is it for the earthworm to pierced the ground.
Wondering at the kind of energy expanded by a seed to bud.
The expertise of an eagle to soar higher:
How come we still find water in desert.
All this awe me about nature.

Why can't we humans appreciate nature?
Appreciate who we are, how we are made and formed.
What come over us?
Trying to patch our mentality, by changing the cause of beauty.
Black turning white, changing our body texture and
structure.
But,
Let learn from nature.. ........
Because, nature is just natural

All my senses are drawn to it.

G reat thing did happen this morning.
O ut of the ordinary, it did explode.
O h!!!.......... Am glad it did and the bones in me stands to rejoice.
D on't know how to explain or express it.
M oments like this your awe about your subconscious feelings.
O rator couldn't have have captured the magical feelings from the soul.
R ealms of anticipation keeps you guessing.
N ature gives you that realm of realisation that it wasn't a dream.
I ndeed, it's not one of King Solomon wise words.. ..... But, a moment of being blessed.
N ow I understand what people felt when being blessed by the heavenly bodies.
G ood morning all, have just being blessed by an angel.

I heard some voices, yes I did hear a music.
The sound from a far off.
The melody did woke me up from the Cinderella world.
The sound of the instrument was heard from afar off.
The voice of the musician was like that of Lucifer.
The pitch of the voice was so melodious.
The tune of the music was make perfect like the host of angel singing.
The beats came together like a clusters of stars.
I can feel the synchronising of beats, voice, instrument and melody.
Oh.. ....... What a melody to the heart.
What a refreshing to the soul.
The mind, soul and spirit came in one accord.
Because, the music speak to its essence.
It speak words and life like it hasn't being told before.
A song of freedom and liberty.
A song.. .............. I still remember in totality.

Walking along a lonely road.
A road that leads to nowhere.
Filled with potholes and gallops.
A road that is covered with silence.
No life seems to live along this route.
No single soul did pass through it from the time I was there.
Either from:
East,
West,
North,
and south.

So lonely, I felt the essence of missing a loved one.
So dangerous, I thought I was in a lion den.
Deserted like a desert;
Empty like a vaccum of space;
Void, having no life;
Silence engulfed it like a graveyard.

I somour up courage to take the first step.
It look like a leap to the unknown.
A world that is waiting to be explored.
I could hear the sound of the first step I take.
I could feel the chillness of the surroundings.

Silence engulfed me like a raging wave.
Scanning around like a thief concious of his environs.
Patience was my watchword like a sniper on a mission.
Different thoughts and reasoning ravage my mind.
Fighting to illuminate my sence of reasons.
All this happened as a took that first golden step.

Out of nowhere;
A word did bud my mind.
It snap me from my subconscious state.
Crept in like a still voice.
So gentle and audible.
The voice, that it's tone, pitch and note was just perfect for the occasion.
Ears wide open I listen carefully and attentively.
Writing it down in the marble of my heart.

Oh.. .............
My hearts bleed at the lamentations of the voice.
Hearts quake like a tsunami did occur.
Could feel the drops of tears.
Could hear the land wailing.
Could feel the breeze speaking in sorrowful songs.
The bones in me where dispear.

Fear was overtaken by sorrow and tears.
All because this lonely, rough, silent, rugged road once leads to a place where life did exist.
A place where generation did spring forth.
A place where people do call home.
A place where history where made and remade.
A place where children were like bees, young ones were full of life, oddies did grow in wisdom.

A place where;
But now........... it's no more

There is this hawker in my neighbourhood.
Who look so innocent and spotless to behold.
There is this hawker in my neighborhood.
Who look soo ruddy, rough but fair.
There is this hawker in my neighborhood.
Who always smile and laugh with everyone.

There is this hawker in my neighborhood.
Whose parents couldn't afford the luxury of life.
There is this hawker in my neighborhood.
Who argument her parents financial muscles.
There is this hawker in my neighborhood.
Whose parents could not afford to send to school.

Therefore.. ... She sells pretty little things for a living.
Having much joy, because she knows the gods of the land will smile at her some day.
There is this hawker in my neighborhood.
Whom everyone have come to like.

Everyday she wakes up to hawk her goods.
Alas,
I didn't see her again.
Days runs to days;
Weeks to weeks;
Months to months;
She is no where to be found.

Getting worried I decide to enquire.
Trace here genesis;
Went all the way to know where she comes from.
Hey!. ... What I saw I couldn't phantom.
This is where the hawker from my neighbourhood comes from.
The distance she do trek just to trade.
Such a failed institutions of governing and policies.

But,
More shocker awaits me.
The hawker in my neighborhood has being given in marriage.
A twelve year old girl has being violated.
Someone took her innocence,
Someone felt an instance lust for her.
Someone decide to take her as a wife.
Someone did ditched her dreams, aspirations and focus.
Someone did all this..........

All this thoughts did ravage my emotions for days.
I couldn't let go of hearing what happened.
Then, a note was passed yesterday;
I heard she is no more.
She died during child bearing.

She left the world due to complications when she couldn't reach the hospital in time.
Lost her gentle soul to the claws of death.
Died for what she never prepared for.
Gone like a candle in the wind.

A dream was cut short.
A purpose was defeated.
A glory has being swallowed by the motuary.
A gentle soul left us.
Am irk because this could have being prevented.
Am sad to my bones.
My pen.. ....... Did shed a tear.
Because humanity keep loosing souls like this

A day with the star.
A moment to feel the wind.
Puzzle up in a wrapped crest.
Like the ark of covenant set at the center.
Feeling the presence in the room.
Such a soul searching of the mind.
Something you can't phantom to explain.
Things you can't take a leap to the reality.
Beyond human imagination.
Hidden from the sight of the eagle.
Unwraped in the mystery of minds.
That's where the shinning came from.
That's why you call feel and not touch.
A moment with the star, seems never to be forgotten.
