He made this statement before yesterday's primaries when it was rumored that he has stepped down for another candidate.
He used this statement to clear the air that he was still in contest.

Well, the final reality is that he eventually lost in the primaries.

He must be very down now.
Very frustrated.
Thinking of how he can recoup his wasted funds.
He would even regret coming out in the first place.

it was obvious from the begining that he was going to lose , he too can't say he doesn't know .but one thing is sure if apc wins the governorship elections in the state then most likely he will be compensated with a post.
