UI Medicine is not easy o.

If you manage to get in, be ready to study for 16 hours a day and also be ready for serious negative marking meaning that what you score wrong in an exam is deducted from your correct scores.

I was reliably informed that Unilag medicine is a lot easier than that of UI since Unilag follows American system whilst UI follows the British system.

Whichever University you choose for Medicine, be prepared to score very high in both Jamb and post Jamb and then prepare to approach your Medical studies like warfare as the dropout rate in Medical school is very high because of the negative marking which is there for the purpose of discouraging would be Doctors from guessing with their patients lives.

All the best in your studies but remember, only choose medicine if you really, really want to be a Doctor and are prepared to study for 16 hours a day with no social life, no alcohol consumption and no girlfriend.

Also, you will have no time for time wasting friends once you get into Medical school if you want to complete the course.

The competition in Medical school once you get in is that fierce and if too many people pass an exam, a graph is plotted and any one falling below that graph fails.

And the people you are competing with are not only very brilliant but also extra competitive to get the top marks in their class.

Thanks! what's ur point? are u insunerating i choose UNILAG(or someother school) to UI?. You should also b aware that Unilag is a school of catchment of which i'm unrecognised. pls pivot your point. which institute do you suggest, as regards my initial post?

Why na? Instead of all these discouragement,Encourage and advice him and all that will motivate him to try harder not inputing more Fear..
