At first when I became a born again and started attending church. I always listen to sermons from pastor without jotting it. But I noticed that almost every member used to write something down when ever the pastor preaches, so they following sunday, I brought a note and joined the train.
But since I wasn't "jotting" to study for an exam or to write test, I always end up not opening the notes again until the following sunday when I need to write again. But sometimes, I do read it during the week.

I don't usually use it, but I do keep them in my archives for in case I may be in need of it later. some will even throw theirs away immediately they get out of church, especially when it's a sheet of paper, smh.

I don't quote pastor neither do I write down pastor's messages. I quote & jot from my Bible

tbh.....i don't do it....that's why i no longer bother to jot when I'm in church
