I guess I lost the 2nd round. I was full like crazy. but that egusi was perfect. the goat meat was kinda hard, but twas ok.
anyways, I ordered some Eba with more egusi, chicken, and Goat meat Pepper soup and the rest of my SUYA for take-out.
I Know i'm set this sunday!!!
couldn't resist having a sip of the pepper soup immediately. It was nice sha, but that OMPH, that OMG feeling wasn't there. just like the moi-moi and the suya, that naija home cooking unique flavor was missing.
its true what they say., east or west, home is best.

Walmart ke. do u see maggi and knorr at Walmart? or can you get egusi and garri at safeway?
all my ingredients for jollof rice I buy at Walmart and Safeway . They have knorr and that's what I use. They also have everything else for jollof and fried rice.

No they don't have egusi and all those native African stuff that's why I think you shouldn't fill your tummy first with jollof rice grin
At least you drove far for African food, hammer better swallow.

55 mph is the limit on country highways but 60 is ok. 70 is the limit on interstates but u can do 75, somtimes 80, depending. Clocked 91 once coming back from Georgia. Those days re behind me now.
the pictures re from a 5s. DSLRs re difficult to use when driving.

Nna, u dey fall my hand o. Dis is an interesting trip bt u aren't making it look so esp. 2 pple wt strong curiosity 2 catch a glimpse of hw 'obodo oyibo' looks like. Besides, d quality of d cam u claimed isn't impressive at all: wondering if it d real DSLR! Or u are nt just a photo persin?

For instance, u mean all u can snap in that restaurant are just plates of food? I wonder if they hv entrance or structure or staff or general interior view at all! U claimed gas so cheap! U dey spare your internet data kwanu? D picshure of d menu sheet u snapped was even blur. Dat one na snow effect too?

Embarked on dis kind long trip only 2 first go order jollof/fried rice? O boy, dis no be d lasgid life u claimed naw! U no talk of fufu/eba wt assorted (round-about, towel, orisirisi), lafun (white amala), ewa agoin wt agae bread, etc. Or u wan make I share my just two weeks Atlanta trip picshure, then u go confirm say some china phones sabi snap.

Omo eko, come on, raise you game & let's go!

I guess OP's cam is broken after taking that GPS image, so he's fixing it. Pictures of the whole car and roads will soon follow to water some people's mouths.....lols.
you have seen it that he is busy scamming babes with his pics. They are already seeing a navy blue passport with their names in it.

Went to Columbus to eat., not take pictrs. The Picts u seen so far re from a 5s. Only James Bond can drive and use a DSLR at the same time. Those suckers re heavy dude. Besides, how do u zoom and focus with one hand?
Stay tuned. U might see Some real SLR pictrs of COSI

My hostess wanted me to try 2 out first.
the SUYA arrived. I was expecting the usual nice Hausa Suya, but what I got was this:
the suya tasted nice and all, but it was nothing compared to lagos suya. tasted more like beef kekab with suya seasoning.
Anyways sha, I dispatched the 2 suyas.
I was kinda disappointed, but I knew that the main dish was still coming.

Hmmm....you tried! ....but this is not the quality pix expected from an SLR camera. Didn't you set it to auto focus? Next time just post the pix and we would convince ourselves they were taken by an old low level Techno. So why you never snap the restaurant?...neither inside nor outside? Well from tthe pix that place look old and boring...very boring. The ghetto pix is not convincing. The student housing look very old.....in fact those buildings look like those built in the late 1800's to early 1900's...pre household electricity ..pre automobile times! Was there some kind of curfew?...hardly any people on the street and just few cars....not surprised you were the only one in the restaurant! Don't get me wrong...the thread is interesting and revealing!...still waiting for more pix! I can see you were driving much faster on your return trip...was it because you were disappointed?....angry?....or ehmmm....rushing home to use the bathroom??...just saying!
