Hello, this is to the muslim brethren.

Please I would love to know what Islam really teaches about the 72 virgins and the process. I want to know this because I've only heard about it as hearsays, I've not really come across an authoritative teaching on it and I don't like passing judgment on issues I'm not certain about.

I'm sorry if there has been similar threads. Waiting for objective and mature responses.

Sunan al-Tirmidhi Hadith 2562 says:

The Prophet Muhammad was heard saying: “The smallest reward for the people of Paradise is an abode where there are 80,000 servants and 72 wives, over which stands a dome decorated with pearls, aquamarine, and ruby, as wide as the distance from Al-Jabiyyah [a Damascus suburb] to Sana’a [Yemen]”

My major issue now (probably based on my faith) is why God/Allah should use "carnality" as a reward in eternity. Or probably the statement by the prophet was just metaphorical.
Would kindly need more explantion.

Mind you, allah and GOD are not the same. allah don't have a son, GOD does
