I guess some courses where not properly represented by employees. IT and Computer Science reigned a lot. Social sciences also really reigned. Courses like Accountancy, Sales, Marketing, etc. I didn't hear much engineering except for some civil and mech maybe one or two. No Geology or Geophysics.

pls can I still register for this prog and if possible how?

nothing reasonable for mech engineers. they were not matched with anything good. I left there frustrated without any match.

Pls let's endeavour to share useful information about this fair cos from what I can tell yestderday information is keen...Pls does anyone who has been following this programme have any idea of a reputable company in IT/Telecoms in that fair?or anyone who has a company that has prospects of "paro"....for guys interested in Human Resources and possess certification in cipm or studied related course, Nestle HRM was there yestderday and so many people weren't aware...

Yesterday at GIS job fair was fun, for me, it was well organized but a lot of home work still needed to be done by the Federal Government. Most of the employees who came were only looking for sales agents and marketers, it was an opportunity for them to acquire cheap labours and errand slaves. I was expecting to see several multinational companies being partners of this scheme but it was the opposite, please tell me, apart from Nestle, which other multinational companies came, this was where the Federal government got it wrong. Some of the employees don't even understand the aim of the scheme, or, how do you explain a situation where an employee was asking for a skilled graduate with 5years of experience in graphics art design? The solution to this issue is very simple. FG should mandate all the multinational companies in the country to join the scheme,not one should be exempted, their HR must attend all job fairs, and graduates who show interest should matched..simple as ABC

@ Ope0409....lemme guess u were dat dude on "coat" wit a back pack walking side by side looking for companies like chevron shey?lol and we ended up meeting an employer looking for experienced graphic artist...d dude isn't properly informed about d scheme and moreover some employers excluding d sales and marketing role were looking out 4 people wit experience contradicting d main objective of d scheme...naija na wa o,make dem sha give us free money...infact it got to a point employers were requesting for fine ladies only.

Mhen,had to go check back d last day of d fair to ask questions sef nd dat operation worefa man said dey will only treat 1st 5 from each list the employers submitted sef...had to retake for another match

And when will d money start entering into our account **lol** can't wait.

Please oh, I was matched with an engineering firm at the welcome centre but so far I've only been given an account number, no other mail from sure p, the so called employer does not pick calls, neither is the sure p representatives, I even sent them a mail but no response yet please what do I do?
