A LAYER OR A BROILER
There are several types of fowl breeds e.g. Layers, Broilers, Cockerel, etc. But in this article we will be focusing more on three of them they are the layers, the broilers, and the cockerel.

Poultry farmers have different reasons for rearing the domestic fowl. But they are two major reasons and it depending on their choice they choose the type of breed they want. The reasons are
(i) Reared for meat only: If this is the reason for the farmer rearing domestic fowl. It means he will be going for Broiler. Rearing broilers for egg production is not ideal and economical. It is usually on very rare cases that you would see broilers being reared for eggs.
(ii) Reared for eggs: If this is the reason for the farmer rearing domestic fowl. It means he will be going for Layers

However, a farmer can opt out for both. Let’s consider the broiler and the layer

The broiler is a type of fowl which is reared just for meat production alone unlike the layer which is reared for purposes more than meat production which is laying of eggs. In my findings I found out that female broilers can and do lay eggs if they manage to live that long. However, most people don’t keep them till that age for several reasons because they aren’t very profitable animals in egg production when it comes to food vs. feed ratio. In other words they eat so much that it isn’t affordable to keep them for egg production. Also, most broilers are crossed with Cornish which isn’t a very good egg production breed.

The farmer is not concerned in the mode of feeding of the broiler because it has nothing more to offer him than the meat. The broiler is fed to satisfaction not considering of its weight or size. The ration given to broilers are not to be given to layers if the farmer (if the farmer want to remain in the egg business) wants the layer to continue to give him more egg

The layer is a type of fowl which is reared for more than the purpose of meat production; it is reared for the production of eggs also. The egg production is into two categories:

(i) Reproduction: Eggs can be hatched to reproduce several other chickens. Those that cannot be hatched will go to the markets for human consumption. This is the most interesting and lovely part of these breeds they have the ability to procreate. Every farmer would want more chickens.
(ii) For human consumption: The farmers make more money on the layer chickens. Thereby he can begin the selling of eggs in large quantities depending on how the layers produce.

However, there is this third breed I would want us to consider also it is the COCKEREL. The broiler chickens are still better to these ones. They are just nothing to talk about. Apart that cockerels don’t lay eggs at all, It also takes more time for cockerel chicks to reach maturity stage. The poultry farmer would have made several turn-overs on broiler chicks before a cockerel reach its maturity stage. Though they don’t eat as much as the broilers but it is more ideal to rear broilers than cockerel. A farmer that in interested in good turn overs in his business will never invest in cockerels.

I have just put up the above brief illustration on the layers, the broilers and the cockerel for you to understand the context of this write-up.

There are some Christians that are like broilers to God. There is nothing more they can offer to God than becoming children of God. These set of people are not interested in kingdom activities, are not concerned in reproducing, fishing for men souls, etc (like the broilers are not very concerned with the laying of eggs). So God just give them whatsoever they ask for because of they are His children but He will never entrust great treasures to them. These set of people struggles less to see result.

There are also cockerel Christians. These are the worst set of Christians. It takes long for them to grow to maturity. They have protracted infancy as Christians. These ones will want to remain babes. Some in this category will not even want to grow up to maturity. The cockerel Christians are like the fig tree that Jesus cursed in Mark 11:12-25. Jesus cursed the fig tree because He expected at least a fruit on it but Behold the tree was fruitless. The tree was just gaining ground and flourishing but no fruit. So He cursed it. That should tell you that God is not interested in a fruitless Christian at all.

However there are some set of Christians which are layers. God is so much concerned about this people like the layer is to the farmer. People in this category often think God hates them more despite that they are more useful to God than the broiler Christians. God intentionally make the layer Christians to go through some tough moments in life so they can fit for His own use. The layer Christians go through fire sometimes in life, Isaiah 43. Like the goldsmith allows the gold to pass through the fire before it can become beautiful so also God allows the layer Christians to go through so much challenges in life to make them gather so much experience for them to fight the kingdom of Satan like the layers are able to be highly resistant to several types of illnesses.

The broiler doesn’t bring extra income to the farmer but the farmer spends much money in feeding the broiler because the broiler eats more than the layer. Unlike the broiler the layer brings in extra income to the farmer and the farmer needs no fortune to rear the layer as useful as they are. But however the farmer has more time for the layer than the broiler

Look carefully into the briefly explained breeds of the domestic fowl, which category do you belong to? If you belong to the layer Christians and you are thinking of giving up. Never give up. Everything is going to be all right very soon. God has you in mind and will always be with you because He has never for once forsaken you.

No business man will want to be at the losing side. A farmer has a businessman will be interested in good turn-overs in his business. Therefore he will not invest much in cockerels, he would rather to invest more in the broilers that cockerels. But he would invest much in the layer even than the broiler and the cockerels. God is not interested in broiler Christians not to talk of cockerel Christians. That’s why He won’t entrust them with great treasures. He will never invest in a fruitless Christian.

Have you looked into the context, and you see the characteristics I have listed match you with the broiler or cockerel type of Christian. The good news here is that broiler/cockerel fowl have no opportunity to change to layers because that’s how they have been born. But you as a broiler Christian even if you a cockerel have the great opportunity of changing for better into layer Christians.

The best time to change from being a broiler/cockerel Christian is now. No other time could be as good as these. Many souls are perishing day by day. God is interested in the layer Christian that is ready to fight to pull down satanic kingdom. He is ready to entrust great treasures in a layer Christian that is ready to raise an army that will confront the kingdom of darkness and fight the battle to finish. Wouldn't you like be to part of GOD's transformational team. You can't be if you remain a cockerel or a broiler. God's command in Genesis 1:28 for us to be fruitful and multiply is to everybody, of which you are not exempted from. Children of God has been given the mandate and authority to subdue the earth. Don't let Satan toy with your right. If he has been toying with it presently, collect your right back. It's high time Satan's kingdom has to be wiped away from the earth. It is possible as layers to achieve this. Let’s unite as children of God to dethrone him and take our rightful position now. May God help you as you decide to be a LAYER henceforth.

I refuse you to be a cockerel in Jesus name.

And who told you the tree is out of season. If it is out of season, Jesus wont go looking for fruits under it, and cursing the tree when He couldn't find fruits on it. He is not as wicked as you can be. Try to think and interpret the bible straight and stop looking for ways to fault The Bible. Don't forget it is God's word. God bless you!!!!!

Is there anything bad in cursing a tree that has failed to produce fruit out of season. If you were in His shoes I know you will do more than that. Isn't it frustrating not to found a single fruit on a tree however the leaves didn't stop to grow, If it is out of season it shouldn't have leaves on it. Instead of producing fruit together with the leaves its producing, it just failed to yield fruit and kept on producing leaves. I don't have much time to argue some of your response because you are sounding an atheist.

Your statement pointing out irrational acts done by characters in a book was born out of the erroneous assumptions or methodologies you employed. The mistake is you're takin' things out of context. It is easy to "create contradictions" when there are none by violating the context of the passage(s) in question.
More significant, you're violating the context of belief. The understandin' of a Christians is as of the synthesis of many beliefs, and Biblical teachin's often interpreted through this background belief which has been synthesized. Such a synthesis may include other facts, not directly related to the contradiction in question, but nevertheless, relevant. When you propose a contradiction, you ought to do so within the context of the Christain background belief system.

By failing to do this which you've done here, you're merely imposin' an alien concepts into the text as if they belong; hence your hypocrisy just like I stated.
