Ex-militant, Tompolo, Buys Six Warships by Nobody: 11:02am On Dec 13, 2014
A former Niger Delta militant, Mr. Government
Ekpemupolo, alia Tompolo, has bought seven
decommissioned Norwegian battleships, Saturday
PUNCH has learnt.
Reports by a Norwegian newspaper, Dagbladet, said that
the fast-speed Hauk-class guided missile boats had
been re-armed with new weaponry.
The report also revealed that Ekpemupolo’s most recent
purchase is a KNM Horten, a fast-attack craft now used
in fighting piracy in Nigeria’s waterways.
It was learnt that in spite of his alleged history of
violence, Tompolo, now controls the Global West Vessel
Service, a privately owned contractor for maritime
security for the Nigerian Maritime Safety Agency.
Buying arms from Norway requires an export license
from Nigeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The ships
were reportedly sold first to CAS Global, a British
security company that has such a license, after which
Ekpemupolo reportedly bought the ships from the British
company.
Dagblade reported that the seven Norwegian ships are
now part of the company’s maritime fleet patrolling
under a contract for the Federal Government.

We might as well privatise our navy what is the point of having these navy and can't defend our seas and rivers. This president has no leadership qualities at all. A monkey would have done better than this rubbish of a president.

I would be donating to the Tompolo organisation, no region have monopoly on violence, especially when the region in question relies on Tompolo's region for subsistence.

A militant as a FG security contractor?

The same way the wife of an ex-convict now directs NDLEA.

Sorry to say, Nigeria is doomed under this Goatluck of a being.

nairamaverick:

your question contains your answer.

Heck!Jonathan is discreetly and surreptitiously funding a private army under our noses. If given a new 4year term,we all will need to forget Nigeria as a united country.
Jonathan is funding Boko Haram in the north too,to achieve a demonic, devilish scheme of term extension, killing Northerners and rendering many homeless as refugees.
The lazy, mercantile Nigerian media is too scared to report Jonathan's atrocities in the Northern Nigeria. The glaring truth is the media has been brow-beaten and subdued and turned into a cash and carry enterprise by corrupt Jonathan and his cohorts.

Who wouldn't be afraid of a well-funded and well-armed legal terrorist like Tompolo.Take the bribe or die.

This is what intelligent people know.
This is why the USA Doesn't trust the Nigerian government with advanced weaponry at the moment.

Stop whining, shortly after Nigeria-Biafra War, the Gowon-led FG had all the opportunity to Reconstruct, Rehabilitate and Restructure (the 3Rs) but what did he do? He bungled it, now this is the offshoot *in Tupac's voice; The Hate U Gave Little Infants Fvck 'Em up* THUGLIFE
