The candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the 2015 governorship election in Ogun State, and the incumbent governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, on Tuesday picked a Director of Finance and Administration in the Lagos State Ministry of the Environment, Mrs. Yetunde Onanuga.

Amosun’s incumbent deputy, Mr. Segun Adesegun, has defected to the Social Democratic Party, where he is currently jostling to pick the governorship ticket of the new party.

And beyond my brother. Any balanced Nigerian who is on the side of societal progress, regardless of personal ethnic or political affiliation, will wish more years for Amosun because, so far, he is shaping up to be the best Governor Ogun State has ever had.
