Hey guys, please i'm kinda lost here. if i cite articles or posts from sites and i quote the source below the post, is it still copyright infringement even though i didnt collect express permission from the owner that i want to use it on my site? Because i just applied for google adsense and i was wondering if that could hold me down? . thanks y'all.

Don't let your mind come down yet. It's all down to what percentage of your content is copied. If it's a significant percentage, you won't get adsense even after 100 applications.

The last time I checked, blogging isn't by force.

Yes it will affect him. You don't just copy and cite. You have to get express permission from the owner. The owner will then give you terms, which would definitely include asking you to cite the source.

Before you copy any content, read the owner's copyright infringement policy.

After all that has been said, I wonder the kind of blogging you're getting into where you can't produce original content rather than copying people's sweat.
