It was watched with dismay, the Presidential spokesperson; Pot-bellied Doyin Okupe on a national TV asking Nigerians if we wanted a Nigeria of the 80's or Nigeria of now?? IMAGINE! Can someone please let him know that in the 80s, we slept with our doors open without fear In the 80s, the naira was almost equivalent to the dollar In the 80s we had functioning refineries In the 80s the price of fuel was almost free In 80s, Generators were something we distantly heard about In the 80s, religious bigotry never existed In the 80's, act of terrorism never existed The goodies of the 80s are endless and that is why Nigerians are replying him by saying YES, we want Nigeria of the 80's. Am sure no sane Nigerian will want Nigeria to continue being governed as of today. May God return the Nigeria of the 80s, precisely that of 83-85. Can somebody say Amen? |

Seems to me like the President's media team is tacitly bent on sabotaging his re-election ambition. What with all this "foot in mouth" statements they are releasing left, right and centre. Someone really needs to call them to order. |

Instruction is a major attribute of the image of God in which we are made. And this is Education. Nigerians want educated leaders from now on. Presently we have a Phd and a masters degree holder in Architecture till 2019. Thank God for this. And God is already preparing for us a Prof. of laws/another skilful and educated Vice to takeover from 2019. The Lord is good and He is working very well for Nigeria. Education is continuous and all in the future, in our younger ones in schools struggling to acquire good education and come back to replace the many irredeemable contraptions we now have. Your son or daughter who is studing to get a Phd tomorrow, don't you want him or her to become Mr. or Madam President of Nigeria someday? Or will you prefer an irredeemable ass of a dictator block his or her chance to that famous office? |

yazach:You forgot to add that in your magical 80's when you die, you'll just wake up. In fact there was no death. That's why people were spending all their waking moments then queuing for rice, sugar, milk and soap powder. Fantasy! |
