IMOLITES, What Are The Crimes Of Gov Rochas? (an Open Letter To Imolites) by ddddon(m): 11:55am On Dec 22, 2014
It is a general legal terminology that before a man is set for condemnation he should be given a fair trial, but judging by public opinion among the common man in IMO state, a man is about facing persecution for an offence yet relatively unknown, and that man is Rochas Okorocha.
A man once tagged the messiah of IMO state, a man that came with a rescue operation that was highly accepted by Imolites.
IMO state , have always been a state with a strong political voice, a state where votes are casted, monitored and protected by the voting population. No wonder when a former governor Ihedi Ohakim was voted out of office, President Jonathan congratulated Rochas on his election saying that the people of Imo state have spoken through the ballot box.
Now when Rochas came into power, he made his focus known that Free Education in Imo state is his government top priority, which to a very large extent the government of Rochas have tried in achieving that.
A public opinion movement carried out by me in December 2014 placed a very large percentage of Imolite on a mission to kick Rochas out of government house , some even boasted that they will do to him what they did to Ohakim come 2015 pools, when I went further to ask them their greviance over Rochas Administration they said that "Rochas have joined Boko Haram party " some said " Rochas is a Muslim only pretending to be a Christian" then a collected few said they are not Happy with a billboard along weathdral - control express where Rochas was placed in a picture with a little girl on hijab and also a woman, saying that this is a clear indication that their Governor is now a Muslim. But a clear observation of most of their greviances one will observe that none pin points to the administration of Gov Rochas, but rather an expression of anger over Rochas romance with APC and their leaders, but what most of my respondents failed to understand is that APGA(a party I have nothing against) is a regional party , judging by its actions and inactions, and this was made very visible by APGA endorsing President Jonathan as her Presidential candidate for the 2015 Presidential elections, so common sense will tell anyone that is eying the presidency that a party like APGA is not where you can achieve such vision, Gov Rochas fell into this category and he moved on to a party that have a say in the center and to prove his point, he contested in the APC primaries though he lost to Buhari.
A step which Gov Rochas is trending that should be applauded is the fact that he is portraying himself as a national leader rather than a regional one, and that have been a glitch faced by most of our founding father's.
In conclusion to this, looking critically at the matters at hand, why have the people of Imo prepared to crucify without due consideration or without stating their greviances. If Ur an Imolite reading this, Ur comments will be highly welcomed also if Ur not an Imolite but a consigned Nigerian plz air your view.

FOR ME ROCHAS IS GOOD AND DESERVE ANOTHER TENURE, BUT BELIEVE ME HE WASNT WISE AS I EXPECTED, HE KNEW THAT THE NORTH WILL NOT GIVE HIM THE TICKET SO WHY JUMPING TO APC NOW WHY NOT WAIT AND DO AS PETER OBI DID AFTER HID SECOND TENURE HE CAN DECAMP TO WAT EVER PARTY AT THE CENTER. THE ISSUE OF BOKO HARAM AND COUPLED WITH THE MASS KILLINGS OF NDIGBO IN NORTH AS A RESULT OF BOKO HARAM AND BUHARIS AND THE NORTH EARLY SUPPORT OF BOKO HARAM MAKE AN AVERAGE IGBO MAN TO DISLIKE APC. ALSO ROCHAS SHOULD START ONE ROAD AND FINISH IT INSTEAD OF STARTING 100 WITHOUT COMPLETING THEM OR DOING A NON GUARANTEED ROAD IN ORDER TO GAIN POPULARITY. HE SHUD START A PROJECT AND FINISH IT INSTEAD OF STARTING 200 WITHOUT FINISHING THEM. A GOOD GOVERNOR WILL ALLYN WITH THE CENTER NO MATTER POLITICAL AFFILIATION IN ORDER TO BRING DEVELOPMENT TO HIS STATE BUT ROCHAS DID NOT ALLYN WITH THE PRESIDENT BUT WAS AGAINST HIM AND BECAUSE OF THAT THERE IS LITTLE OR NO FEDERAL PROJECT IN IMO STATE SINCE ROCHAS BECAME THE IMO STATE GOVERNOR. THESE AND MANY MORE ARE NOT MAKING THE MASSES WHO ELECTED HIM HAPPY. MY OBSERVATION

igbos hatred for themselves didnt start today. They dont even have a single representative that they can rally on. God made them amopholus and yet nowhere. Rochas was the only hope of igbo glory and they desert him for thinking outside the box of the container of modern day slave which pdp placed them. Even if rochas won apc president ticket they would still desert him like they did to ojukwu

Rochas will be kicked out not because he joined APC, but because he has performed below expectations and there is a better candidate in the person of Captain Emmanuel Iheanacho.
1) Rochas has failed in the area of attracting investments to the state, most Imo youths still head outside the state to look for job. (one area will believe Captain Iheanacho who is a proven industrialist can improve on)
2)Rochas has failed in the area of environmental sanitation and waste management.
3)Most of the rural roads in Imo are still in terrible condition
4)Many of the government schools are still dilapidated
5)Finally, his actions and comments have proven that he isn't interested in governing the state, he just wants to pass time till 2019.
Imolites will not accept that.

Absolute rubbish!
How does a Rochas Presidency equate to ''Igbo glory''?
You fools will still accuse us of tribalism when we rally behind an Igbo man, GEJ isn't even an Igbo man, yet we get accused of that.
Worry about your Edo people or wherever you are from, I am sure you aren't doing better than Igbos.

An Average igbo man see APC as a Northern Party, So for one of their own to join that so called northern party is like a betrayal to them, Take the case of Anambra; The people loved Ngige, he was the most qualified and right man for the job, At least that's what my pals in Anambra made me believe, but what happened??... They rejected him outrightly because of his Party, They believed he contested on the wrong platform. This same scenario may play out in Imo.

Yes and I know why you are asking.
Rochas didn't have the kind of challenges and distraction GEJ faced.
Unlike GEJ, Rochas has a more competent competitor, Iheanacho.

People should not lose sight of the fact that most Imolites are very educated and have always got unnecessary sentiments during elections in check hence, would not buy into the baseless propaganda of APC being a Boko Haram party(which is already worn out). Owelle is a model and a grassroot man loved by many in Imo State nay the world and I'm happy he is openly supporting the aspiration and candidacy of Buhari. We are Imolites and MOST of us ain't ingrates, we reward hardwork with more work. My bro, go and sample opinion from peeps at the grassroot and u wil be amazed at the level of die hard support Owelle enjoys. Udo diri unu

my brother like i said this letter is not to support any political or to attack any, so if your saying that the people wants Owelle back in Government house , then let the will of Imolite prevail. nothing gives me greater joy than true democracy based on the voice of the people

from ur reply,it is obvious u accepted that like okorocha dat goodluck also failed, but u wil vote goodluck because he had challenges during his 1st term, now, what is leadership all abt,is it nt to tackle challenges when it arises??,if u r a leader and a critical challenge arises and u don't know how to tackle or u couldn't solve it then means u have no business with leadership.den concerning iheanacho been a competent competitor unlike buhari,if by now u have not realised that GEJ will fight d biggest political battle of his life by feb 2015 of which may go either way then u don't know anything about politics.tnk u

Though i didn't read your easy but I am commenting based on the title.

Okorocha stabbed us at the back. Not just the imolites but the Igbos as a whole.

By deciding to sell his birth-rite for a plate of amala that he never recieved, we will treat him like the efulefu that he is.

Okorocha did not listen to wise counsel not to leave the Igbos that voted him into power and whom he has sworn to protect.

We are waiting for him. We will teach him that the memories of the Civil War is still fresh. We will merciless humiliate him for using

our resources to fund enemy party.

You getting it all wrong; Imolite arent only gonna vote him out because he is a bloody traitor but also because he has failed to rescue the state from jaws of death like he promised.

He promised Imolites free education without fixing the system. Who doesn't know Imo is now in the level of northern states in education, yet they go to school for free. I call it free substandard Education. Imo state intre state roads are in some of the worst condition while he lavish billions in Owerri just to make it look nice and deceive the gullible minds. Go to Imo state University,Imsu and cry for Imo state. Go to Imo state University teaching hospital and you will think you are in a brothel. The man has no ffucking vision....He is completely confused and all be thinks is how to make the state beautiful, while the youths leaves the state in droves in search of jobs. Okorocha doesnt know what is job creation,to him its a rocket science. The man is a clown,he laughs like a fool and looks like a dummy. He is so dumb he fails to understand that he is not a presidential materia and can never get there. If it wasn't for Apga support that iidiot will never become governor. Op, drive from Oba-okigwe road to a town called arondizuogu in imo state. And u see what I'm talking about. The whole anambra end of the road is an European highway, but d moment u see 'welcome to arondizuogu', u see hell fire staring at you.
There is no single good road, not to talk of tarred road in that town. The only hospital, ojike memorial hospital, is closed down, except for the mortuary section. The only 2 secondary schools, once thriving schools, built by the natives, are in comatose. No light, no water, no single infrastructure.
And we have rogue in imo govt house, working only on tv and not on ground.
Cockrochas okorocha must leave govt house in 2015, come heaven or hell fire
