Yes, some will say the police are human beings too, so they deserve to be stomached. But professionally speaking, shouldn't they be absolved from this freebie, because it amounts to compromising the force. It is shameful seeing those police officers queue up to collect rice, chicken and token money, which will be exhausted in 2 days at most. I think the that both the police hierachy and the FG shouldn't allow this open display of backwardness in Nigeria. Must we do everything in this country to show our low level of civilitty and poor state of mind to the world? The police force is a very big institution. Fayose has only succeeded in introducing a new way to buy over the police for his selfish plots. He should be stopped. If he continues this way, and extends this wicked gesture to Aso Villa, you can guess what he will use such advantage for. For now, those who should stop him are enjoying it, perhaps thinking he is promoting his party, especially in this campaign season, but politics should be separated from national security..

That's Fayose my best governor . The only governor that gave Tinubu house arrest when he came to Ekiti in Fayose first tenure in office. Fayose's radicalism cannot be compared to that of Aregbe of Osun State. He is a fearless and staunchest good politician that understands the people of Ekiti. The critics of Fayose cannot understand the reason and how much Ekiti people love him inspite of his radical and sometimes rude behavior.
