Isa Aremu is a hypocrite. Why is he bleating now? When the Minister of Finance kept advising in the past that that the Federal Budget be pegged at $65 while oil sold at over $100 in order for Nigeria to save for the rainy day, Hypocrite Aremu who makes no bones about his partisanship while pretending he is merely a labour unionist teamed up with his fellow politicians in the so-called opposition to block the wise advice. Now, he is shedding crocodile tears. E never start o. Wait until oil price plummets to $40 dollars a barrel. Na dat time you go bray like the donkey that you really are.
You and your likes in government are the hypocrites here. We're talking about states here and not the federal government.

And the other excess monies realized from crude oil when the budget was based around 70 something dollars, what has happened to it? Is it not the same stealing and looting?

If the excess crude oil account was not looted and kept for these rainy days, we will surely not be talking this rubbish here.

President Goodluck Jonathan's administration has not paid over 100, 000 senior civil servants three months salaries. The civil servants and their families are suffering and whining while GEJ and his families and sycophants are enjoying their Christmas parties from the Niger Delta to Abuja.
“We see that delay in payment of salaries as wage theft, wage robbery. It is actually an economic crime because Nigeria labour law says thou shall pay the worker as at when due. In fact by 22nd of every month you must have paid the workers fully.[/size]

without prejudice, if we rate the performance of osun state wth a/ibom based on IGR and abuja allocation, I wil rate osun above a/ibom!
b4 u critiicise me, check this fact yourself. If am not mistaken, osun workers salary is above the allocation and it is one of the working states in naija today. SO CARRY YOUR BITTERNESS AGAINST THE UNPERFORMING MONEYBAGS, irrespective of the party.

My only question and possible anger would be HAVE the militants been paid cos they never owe those never do wells cos of thier violent nature, but respectable and law abiding family people are tge people dat deserve to suffer just because dey chose to keep the law and work for the government tgat rewards evil and castigates good. That is the government we find ourselves in today. That is the state of Nigeria and that is the situation cos we decided to overide our future and vote for sentiment and not credibility. We have another chance in February make it count cos we cant continue like this. Only a sentimental hypocrite will say otherwise. And just so we know there is nothing merry about this Christmas for those poor families. It is well.

So, Akpabio too hasn't paid? Truly, PDP is a curse.

Akwa Ibom State has a population of about 5 Million people and receives about 30Billion Naira monthly from the FG, yet he cant pay workers their salaries for several months.

Faahola gets roughly the same thing as Akwa Ibom in revenues and paid its workers 13th month salary. Meanwhile, Alimosho LG in Lagos state has a population of 9Million inhabitants (more than the entire Akwa Ibom state).

Akwa Ibomites, help is on the way.

GMB 2015
Oga na around 4 million in population and not 9 million, reduce the exaggeration.

Your signature line "GMB 2015" indicates you are either one of the many Buhari internet e-warriors, or an ardent APC supporter.

One of the things that puts people off in APC campaign strategy is the firm believe in spewing deliberate falsehood to deceive the electorates. Monthly federal allocations to the states are routinely published in newspapers, and is available for anyone who cares to check at Finance Ministry webpage.

Fact is no state receives the bogus figure of N30 billion monthly. Certainly, not Akwa Ibom. Similarly, please provide official census figures to confirm this fiction that population of Alimosho LCDA is 9 million. How many LCDAs are in Lagos? What is the population of each one? How does that add up to the total population of Lagos which is about 10-12million.

Finally, information at our disposal is that Fashola promised Christmas bonus of a certain percentage of their salary, and not a 13th month salary. These lies are becoming unbearable undecided

I have said it many times, the strategy of deliberately deceiving the public will not deliver the Presidency to General Buhari.

WE ARE WATCHING shocked shocked shocked

And some sets of useless Governors donated over N1billion for GEJ

God will judge them

Akpabio, Jang, Imoke, Suswam, Others Donate N1billion
While Owing Workers... -

As representatives of 21 Peoples Democratic Party [PDP]
governors mounted the rostrum Saturday night at the
presidential villa in Abuja to announce N1.05 billion in
donation to the PDP, back in their respective states, school
teachers and other state workers were enduring their
second or third month of work without pay.

In some states, the indebtedness to workers stretched a
year.

In Ebonyi, authorities owed teachers under the Universal
Basic Education scheme nearly 12 months of salaries.

In Abia State, secondary school teachers were last paid in August, while primary school teachers have been owed since October.

In Akwa Ibom State, the nation’s leading oil producer which
draws more than triple of what other states receive from the federation account monthly, local government staff were on strike. Before the strike, they were forced to receive half salaries for several months, while authorities claimed they had no money.

In Cross River, the situation had worsened after months of indebtedness that state-run television, the Cross River
Broadcasting Corporation, CRBC, shut off production last
week. The station remains off air till date. Other staff fortunate to have received reasonably up-to-date pay, have yet to be paid for November.

But on Saturday night, Cross State governor, Liyel Imoke,
stood next to his Bauchi State colleague, Isa Yuguda, as Mr. Yuguda announced to a gleeful president and a shocked
nation how the 21 governors who had been struggling to pay salaries long before the present oil crisis, rallied N50
million each in donation to the PDP.

“We may do more in future, but that is what we were able to
raise for now,” Mr. Yuguda assured.
