Change2015:Boko Haram will not fear Buhari! They will only be willing to negotiate because they see him as an Islamic faithful. In the past, they ha mentioned Buhari as one of their negotiators. Finally, Islamic warriors are on rampage all over the world, Nigeria is just unfortunate to have a good number of them as citizens. No thanks to Usman Dan Fodio, the first Islamic terrorist to enter the lands of the north and Mr. Luggard who for the sake of his slave trading crated Nigeria. |

Change2015:i like the way you put down your points and i agree with you in many things. but you see i dont support GEJ being in office for another 4years for if we are fair to the truth, it is obvious he lacks the will, resolve and intelligence to lead nigeria. having said that, i dont also agree that of all the young visioneers we could have chosen to lead this country, we are harping SAI buhari. i dont believe any man on planet earth is both saint and messiah rolled in one (as alluded to the general) and still dines and wines with all these ex PDP disgruntled self serving politicians in APC,heck is Tinubu also amongst the prophets? my only concern is that whoever comes in by 2015 should bring to justice members of Bokoharam, their Sponsors and whoever has his handa stained by the blood of thousands of christians slaughtered in northern Nigeria since all this wickedness started. that to me is first before we start talking of economy! BTW i do not care about the insensitive and selfish clamour for peace and security of the grave yard by some people at the detriment of justice hence i also want Ex Niger delta militants prosecuted. |

discusant:but how did stop the youths from being the leaders of tomorow? Nobody stopped any youth from contesting an election. Anybody can come out to contest regardless of your age. It is clear to me that even the leaders of tomorrow prefer the aged ones because they are the same ones(youths) that vote them in. So pls, shun Nigerians youths, we're not ready yet. GEJ till 2019... |

I have always been saying this,GMB should come out to make a public press release that the nigerian Christians are saved if elected in 2015.Please GMB come out to announce this and put the enemy to shame.Nigeria is waiting for change.......... |

Hmmm this is precisely my reason for not wishing to vote for this Buhari. The man is a religious bigot......picking a pastor as VP is just a ploy to pull d wool over some gullible people's eyes. Even if he makes such promises, I don't trust him. I believe he will ensure Nigeria becomes a member of all Islamic organizations in d world. Abeg ooo.....I need unfettered freedom to practise my faith. He's also known to be very partial so issues that will get his priority attention will be those that are Islam/Muslim based. My humble submission |

babadee1:Good thinking, Good product. God bless u. A zillion times. Let us remember dat we hav a national assembly wit about 50-50 percentage of muslims and christians, coupled wit muslim legislators who are just muslims by name. So, how can dis ever bev how can't it work? This ridiculous phobia about buhari islimizing. Nigeria is becoming too ridiculously ridiculous. |

shady26:Truly we agree on a number of things. I really don't care who the president is as long as he pays attention to his job and is dedicated to the unity of this nation first. My concern is that Jonathans wife runs one part of the country, the pdp governors do as they wish, the legislators have no direction no agenda. Do we hear Obama or others giving press conferences about contracts being approved, or dashing the nations wealth to any person who catches his eye for 5 minutes. Look at the apc manifesto and what appeals most to me is job creation, national security, affordable housing (which will create jobs) education and health reform. Fortunately Jonathan has shown his character and we have multiple testimonies as the the sterling quality of GMB. I do not expect a saint, but we desperately need a sane government. Can you imagine Mrs Buhari snatching a microphone from a governor at a public event? Or using Abuja police to lock a governor down in his own government house? Who elected her empress? If my professors wife sounded illiterate, I would doubt his ability to enhance my education, since he must love her more than me and yet she remains... In her condition. GMB has personal and leadership qualities I admire, and in any contest I would pick him over a Jonathan every time. |

tonytony208:yes, i'm one of the small boys on nairaland. So what you are trying to tell me is, if someone else comes out to demand something else, the man or any other candidate should come out and explain?? My brother, it has never been done that way. Dont you know that coming out to clarify an issue he knows nothing about will actually tie him down to the said thing? To me, he doesnt need to clarify anything, all he needs do is to keep shut. |

shady26:nice points bro. To me, i think we are not yet ready for change in this country. We shout "change" all the time but when the time comes for an election, we turn our eyes away from "new" candidates and sometimes even ask, "who be this one"? Take the case of Nda-isiah and co. As far as i am concerned, Nigerians will keep voting for recycled leaders till the next generation comes. This is the attitude of a typival Nigerian.... |

discusant:Some people don't have the fear of God and the people they are leading at heart. They donated $21billion dollars of the Nigerian money to an IOC in 1989 or so. An amount of money that would have stood Ajaokuta steel industry, built several refineries, built coal plants, mechanize farming activities in Nigeria, and also build more schools, but all was donated to make Nigeria a member of IOC... very sad.. |

If APC keeps fielding in the likes of Buhari, Atiku, etc., then they will never win! Why can't they all access APC governors from all round the country, bring out the governors with the top performances and have the likes of Buhari support and campaign for them? I can't have a man who said he will make Nigeria ungovernable if he lost, as my president.. My opinion.. |

MosquitoREBIRTH:i beg to differ. Religion is a VERY SERIOUS issue in Nigeria and must be handled very seriously. If someone running for elective position is accused of inclining towards a particular religion, the onus falls on him to make public declarations on the issue. Such public declaration will not tie him to the issue, it will clear his name. Do you know why many nigerians still see the north as sponsors for boko haram? It is because many of them never publicly condemn or distance themselves from the boko haram issue. |
