At what point did you realize and got convinced that the All Progressive Congress (APC) will succeed in rallying majority of Nigerians for Change.

Although I had always hope for a positive Change in Nigeria - but the very day the APC refused to forfeit their acronym to some PDP sponsored dubious new party registration with the same abbreviation. That was the day I agreed that those heading the APC project understand the seriousness it deserved. Since then it has been from One victory to Another.

'One victory to another'. Really? Like in Ekiti? Anambra? Adamawa?

The very day, Amaechi joined the Train cos he is a Born winner!

This is my story.

This is how I also came to support Buhari (and APC)

In 2009/2010. I supported GEJ against the cabal that were opposing him and concealing Yar'adua's death.

In 2011. I became skeptical, because GEJ squandered the Foreign Reserve from $33Billion to $600Million in 10 months.

In 2012. I was involved in the January subsidy riots. GEJ promised to restore two refineries and reinvest partial subsidy removal funds judiciously.

The rest is history.... Tompolo’s buying private jet and warships, Oduah gate, Boko Haram and Ali Modu Sherrif, $20Billion missing, unprecedented oil bunkering, 16>19 at NGF, Diezani failed jet probe, Chibok Girls, I don't give a damn, America will Know and Stealing is not Corruption, Alameseiagh getting state pardon, Abba Moro Immigration scandal, Na Only You Waka come? Stephen Keshi and Super Chickens, Only Igbo Support Me, etc etc


GEJ has under performed woefully and his body language encourages corruption prodigiously. Anybody expecting Jonathan to change is not being realistic.

2014: The stellar democratic APC primaries vs the one-man show PDP primaries. Prof. Osinbajo as VP and Rotimi Amaechi as Campaign Director on the Buhari Team. APC governors have performed better than their PDP counterparts. OBJ disowns GEJ in public.

2015: I am neither Hausa-Fulani nor Muslim but I have decided to give Buhari a chance based on his anti-corruption antecedents.

Fight that Nigeria will be decentralized and that our institutions will be subjected to public scrutiny

The day I knew GEJ has failed Nigeria.
When he starts giving presidential pardon to thieves,
When the thieves no longer fear prosecution.
When he came on national TV to say stealing is not corruption.
When he can't put a leach on his wife....
If I should continue, honestly I won't sleep tonight and I'm not ready to loose my sleep over him because I know he's going back home in 2015.

Just when I saw how those guys conducted their presidential primary. Internal democracy was redefined side by side when PDP was printing just one nomination form for just one candidate. In addition, getting to see the APC stick together to see the race thru gave me hope they have great plans.

Also the APC masterstroke of getting 5 Governorship seats, House members, Senators, etc - without any electioneering and PDP's inability to upturn it gives me a lot of confidence and proves Nigerians still have a chance to redemption.

To know how it feels, try adding APC having the Speaker of Nigeria's House of Reps (without any election) and the PDP running around incoherently, unable to coordinate a sensible response and even staging the IG of Police to take the fall.

As an aside I felt(saying knew wud sound arrogant) as far back as 2011,that a gej presidency wud b a disaster. The man exhibited and still exhibits dullness too glaringly for him to succeed at any thing that requires rational thinking and decision making.So av since den bn rooting for buhari. What follows were nothing but barage of empty and nonsensical responses except for LRNZH, who gave vivid reasons at least (even though I don't quite agree with most of his points). I realize APC will succeed.........

1. The day APC betrayed Amaechi, denying him the vp slot after collecting rivers' £30b

2. Day I heard that Buhari cancelled lagos metrol rail project initiated by Jakande when he was a military dictator

3. The day BH nominated Buhari to negotiate for and on behalf of them

4. The day Buhari asked GEJ to stop killing BH

5. The day Tinubu tart collecting toll on Lagos roads

6. The day buhari asked his supporters in the north to kill youth corpers because he lost election

7. The day I realized this man 72 and had no university education - e b like panadol no b panadol

8. The day he stage managed a so called "assassination attempt" on his life. Desperation and deceit of the highest order.

9. The day he fraudulently took a bank loan to buy nomination form

10. The day he allow Amaechi to fly in dollars to APC primary to buy delegates off Atiku for him to win the arrange APC presidential primary.

11. the day he jailed Ekweme and keep Shagari under "house arrest"

12. The day Buhari said Abacha never stole our money

The defining moments that I realised APC will be a threat were when Seven former governors walked out of PDP's convention....... In the presence of the president!....... They were all caught unaware. That's when I realised that Jonathan is an accidental president. A president that cannot control his party definitely doesn't have leadership qualities and definitely doesn't have what it takes to lead a country.

The other moment that nail it for me was I saw the so called president aides playing tribal and religious card while tacitly being supported by the president. When I first heard it I thought he was not going for reelection..... Oh! So he's going for reelection while burning bridges that took PDP a lot of years to build.

APC become a threat because of the failure of PDP and I pray APC will learn .

After 15years of mis-ruled by the cabals.

Well, for me it has been any party but PDP since after eight years of PDP without any tangible result.

Many GEJ failures only strengthen my commitment to the course of GMB.

An intelligent man who does not believe in APC succeeding would not have posted on this thread. If I were you that's what I'd do.

The title of the thread and the question asked is clearly for those who believe that APC is and will continue to succeed.
