personally, I am as capitalist as any capitalist can be, I just don't believe in doing harm to get ahead of the game.

we have a natural resource all Nigerians should benefit from. since the 60's over 700 billion dollars has been stolen by a few individuals, if this money had been judiciously used, just try to think about the multiplier effect it would have had on the Nigerian economy?

we do not have to copy america to put food on tables of our country men, britain is much more socialist than america yet it provides for its poor. china is totally socialist and is developing rapidly.

is it because we are black? why are we so wicked and greedy? even america has lots of social services for its poor so why can't we move nigeria forward.

GEJ has wasted 6 good years building archaic rail lines instead of building refineries that would have saved us from the current depreciation of our naira. the refineries would have also provided nigeria with cheaper coal tar to build better more reliable roads. plastics for our industries, fertilizers for agriculture.
GEJ promised to do these things but turned around to increase the price of fuel to further add insult to our injury. why should any sane nigerian vote for 4 more years of the last 6 years. only a thief can support GEJ.

by the way, russia is still better than nigeria

Jonathan WILL NOT stop allocating oil wells to his Northern friends even if he wins next years election. Check out the list of all the owners of oil blocs; 90% of the are Northern PDP bigwigs viz: Alhaji Adamu mu'azu, Bamanga Tukur, TY Danjuma, Mohammed Abacha, Namadi Sambo, Ahmadu Ali, Ali Modu Sheriff etc

All countries have some form of corruption. the issue with nigeria is the depth to which we have let corruption improverish our people. the solution is just using the laws in our constitution to punish thieves. why I mentioned OBJ was to show you that a president can ensure thieves get convicted if he/she wants to.

Ur two options are both too dangerous to contemplate. if you do not know, true federalism would lead nigeria to civil war, may be this is ur hidden agenda.

from ur definition, are u trying to say states are not presently empowered? the 27% derivation is not empowerment?

True federalism is synonymous with resource control. the thing is, if you conduct ur true federalism, are we still going to operate state of origin. today the SE keeps complaining legitimately about igbo's being deported from lagos, that nigeria belongs to everybody so why should any person be deported. imagine what it would be like in ur true federalism view of nigeria. again even f we choose to use state of residency, because we are physically different and we speak different languages, such issues will still spring up.

why do u think the first republic was flawed? your dislike for northerners shouldn't blind you to the fact that majority of northerners are suffering even more poverty than southerners. again realise that the overall population of nigeria should be a bigger resource for nigeria than even oil if properly utilised. we are not so different from each other.

Buhari does not seem to articulate how he will fight corruption. Unfortunately we Nigerians set up systems that are prone to corruption and we hail those policies.

One example - contraband goods, successive governments regularly ban and unban goods usually in the name of supporting local industry or saving foreign exchange. Any banned goods are always available openly in our markets and customs men and women grow fat on bribes. We encourage our children to get jobs in customs because there is money there.

Tell me how does Buhari or Goodluck stop this type of corruption?

Remove government from much of our daily lives and corruption will naturally fall. Is there corruption in the garri market? Or telecos? Compare corruption in MTN that of NITEL?

Dont ever think that crude oil and its revenues will flow seamlessly after GEJ leaves office. The north jas set the precedence.

So its either we gently structure a true federal system and adopt it or we violently adopt it still.
