Lets be fair to President GEJ his government would've been fair if not for security challenges. I think he made one or two mistakes too plus he refuse to prosecute corrupt people in his cabinet. Other than that he tried.

Jonathan is using democratic powers. Within this boundary, he has performed well looking at the infrastructural and industrial revolution which he has brought to Nigeria amongst other achievements. Not even Obj, the self-acclaimed king maker has performed like Jonathan.
For the Boko haram issue, it is a new phenomenon in Nigeria. For everything under the sun there is a time and season. I believe Jonathan is doing his best to deal with them. The military is fighting the insurgency. Fighting terrorism is not easy as supposed law abiding citizens can easily become saboteurs when intimidated into joining the insurgents either out of fear for dear life or for financial favour. You will recall that when Nigeria fought the 30 months civil war, events were in this dimension. The main difference between the civil war and this insurgency is that we knew the civil war warlords and their status as Nigerians, and their intention but boko haram is faceless.
Most of the politicians are against Jonathan on the ground that Jonathan wants to run for second term in office. But constitutionally , is Jonathan entitled to only one term in office?
