Dear NL,
Please how much is cement in your area? Two weeks ago, it was N1300 but now is N1900. How much is it in your area? And what is the way forward since there is no other mode of building house in this Country.

1900 retail price and 1,840 300bags and above. The increment was directly from dangote, unfortunately,he didn't make it public like he did when he reduced the price. I guess the naira devaluation really hit him badly that was why he couldn't sustain the old price. Let's wait and see what happens next.

There are other ways of building houses in this country but no one wants to experiment. Search online for other building alternatives. Personally, I plan to use containers when I'm ready to build my own house. You can also try clay bricks, wood etc

I don't really know any other alternatives for plastering but the building alternatives I mentioned don't need plastering. Try and research on google. I'm sure you'll get some good ideas
