They complained about not acting on report made available to him, to pay them the remaining 10 years salary in arrears.

What do you want them to do? This man has refused to pay these pensioneers, even with a valid court order. If I was to be in their shoes, I will lobby Buhari, to make it one of his agenda, to clear all outstandiong payments due to pensioneers, if elected. Thats the only way, GEJ will pay them, as he is moved, if he discovers that, a certain thing will derial his political ambition.

This is one of the problems created by Obj, which is now hunting this govt. If Yar' Adua had lived another year, he would have settled this issue once and for all, but then, since GEJ was part of Yar'Adua's administration, he should have sorted this problem, long before now. Continous existence of this non-payment, as talked about here, is now a huge embarrassment for his administration. This means, he is not capable to lead, or direct the affairs of a nation. I was surprised when sometime ago, Stella was talking about a new national carrier, when a huge problem was still pending GEJ's signature for payment. He can do better than this.

You are right! Funny enough, NItel will not experience this, becos there was structure on how to pay any liquidated parastatal, unlike when Nigeria Airways was liquidated.

Obj hurriedly liquidated NAL, just to allow the Virgin Atlantic man come and make some bugs, at the detriment of NAL, and Nigerians as a whole. If I may ask, where is that airline today? Jimoh Ibrahim is in a better position to answer that question. Thats what you get, when you sell govt properties to cronies.

I think, it was so good then that, at a time became number 4 in the world. Just like many other govt parastatals, corruption by govt appointees, brought the airline to its knees. Should the workers now pay for the sins of others?

When you have a clueless government, this is what you get. Imagine starving over 5,000 of these aged men and women of their hard earned money? If they were youths, imagine how they would have survived, talkless of these dieing men and women. Chai.....GEJ....there is God..oooo....ooo...oooo
