Former national vice chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in North East, Alhaji Umar Duhu, has said the party’s presidential candidate General Muhammadu Buhari will get the needed votes to defeat President Goodluck Jonathan in next year’s general elections.
Duhu stated this yesterday in Abuja in an interview with Daily Trust, stressing that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has failed Nigerians.
He argued that Buhari’s chances were glaring as the APC controls the most populous states in the country where, according to him, their votes can easily upset any gain made by President Jonathan in some smaller states in the South-East and the South-South where the president has support.
He noted that the vote which Buhari will get in states like Lagos, Kano, Sokoto among others will give him an edge over President Jonathan in the election, expressing optimism that even though insurgency has displaced people in the North-East region, there are areas where elections would be conducted as INEC is making moves to enable the displaced people vote wherever they are in the country.
He said the present situation in the country calls for a committed leader like Buhari who would harness the nation’s available human and material resources to the advantage of all Nigerians.
“Since we have gotten Buhari as our candidate, our aim should be to maximise our votes at the polling units. With that we will be able to bring him on board as the president so that he will effect the needed change in this country,” he said.
Duhu who is presently an APC House of Representatives candidate for Madagali/Michika Federal Constituency, stressed that Buhari would not only get the majority votes in the entire North but convincingly capture the South-West and have 25 percent votes in some key states of the South-South as well as the South-East.If YES Type BUHARI GMB 4 CHANGE!!!!

Nobody is doubting that buhari saw the walls of US war college, Mons and many other martial institutions.
his problem is to produce any educational qualifications he may have.
Platoon leaders course is not an educational qualification.

The north has taken us for a ride way too long, hausa specifically... Go to abuja & visit those government houses, your heart will bleed for the ibos & southerners... almost all are occupied by these hausa barons. I just dislike hausa for this their greed ..... I just pity easterner, southerner, westerner that votes a northerner.... they will continue to reduce us to nothing... it's a shame.

When they saw jona(southerner) was ruling, they were bittered & many northerners vowed never to forgive obasanjo for making jona who he is in nigeria. They quickly formed a party called apc(union of some parties) just to remove jona & they lied that they want to remove pdp( insincerity started the very 1st day)....smh

Personally, I dislike jonathan even if he is from south.... he pursues an ijaw agenda.. correct. But buhari is not a better opponent… why cant apc bring an ibo man as the president & buhari as vice(this is the only way apc can unsit pdp incase u dont know). So I will vote for jona even if he marginalises people (e.g itsekiris & isokos in delta). As a matter of fact, jonathan success in 2015 polls determines the success of all easterners & southerners in life.… many won't understand.

To all southerners , easterners & westerners... lets come together & decide the future of nigeria. If any region I just mentioned doesnt want to, let the others still unite & take a stand. One thing I love about the northerners is their unity and that is why out of 54yrs since our independence, they have ruled 38years(smh)...... were have we been...? They have dealt with us & the truth is that they don't run the nigerian economy- the niger delta oil does. But, surprisingly, all the oil wells in nigeria are owned by the northerners. How can u be in the north & control our resource in the south? Its annoying!.. Well, God will help gej ………i rest my case.

And he is ranked 6th behind Colin Powell and Dwight Eisenhower, the 34th US President among others.

That is FRAUD by any means.
