The decrease in the value of the naira to the dollar did not start now. Infact Buhari left the value of the naira to the dollar worse that he met it. and so did successive governments after him.

What would happen now in democracy would be much worse because he would very limited given that now his powers would seriously be in check, and he has no experience since then working in a democratic background.

Secondly he is not economically smart or strike me as someone who understands the current realities the nation is facing ... Imagine thinking he can fix the economy by stabilizing oil prices. I use to say this buhari campaigners are really smarter than the man.

I heard GEJ saying in 2011's campaign that 4years is enough to transform Nigeria and because of that he won't contest again. That's even enough and I know the cabals will prefer GEJ because it's to their advantage.

I heard some people saying we can't go to the past but they forgot that before OBJ ruled us for 8yrs as a president he's once ruled us as head of state, we are not going to the past by the grace of God.

Doing the same thing over and over again expecting different result they say is foolish, stupid, senseless etc. Let's try somebody and something else in our democracy. Don't let us be fooled or be clouded by religion and ethnicity.

Jonathan is a veritable symbol of national unity. The other candidate is just yearning to assuage ethnic sensibility. Forget the sloganeering about corruption that is being employed to hoodwink unwary Nigerians. All na wash.

In any case, save for a vaulting ambition to grab power at all cost, political power would naturally return to the north in the next four years, so why then must Nigeria burn because of Buhari who ought to have retired from politics like other elder statesmen?
