I will actually Vote for the best candidate not a political party,.......I am a government student,a very reasonable and intelligent one to be specific,I have never taken part in this country's election, not only due to the fact,I qualified last 2yrs but able to register this year but also the fact that, the politics of this country does not interest me,..........if I should look at personality,I won't vote for the party APC cause of Tinubu and his business ventures in lagos or Buhari's past deeds or what he said last election 'this government would be unbearable for jonathan',e.t.c,.............if I should look at personality or past achievements,I won't vote for the party PDP cause they've stayed in government a long time without change,Obasanjo's and other of them in the party that have done this or that. I might not vote come next year but I need to listen and watch debate if anyone cares to give me timetable for debates before election next year. Neither will I sell my vote!!!. |

Fembleez1:1)What I tell doubting youths about Buhari is that they should ask their aged parents, or people above the age of 52-55yrs. Am sure 95% of them would say "Buhari's Regime was the best Military rule in Nigeria" That is enough answer about his past, Not by reading heresies prepared by the opposition, and antagonists. That wants to prevent A Change in Nigeria, they wonna keep us in the circles, WE MUST SAY NO, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. 2)u said:They said, he said that "he will make Nigeria Ungovernable" My questions are when did he said that ? Any proofs? Who has watched a video clip of Buhari uttering that speech? Or read it in a know and trusted newspaper?? 3)what about Tinubu? The Oduduwa man, that has been keeping us in line since by following the footsteps of Chief Obafemi Awolowo His Lagos not one of the best States in Nigeria?? As citizens of Nigeria, who aspires for change, are we just to sit out the elections?? Or we are to grasp to opportunity for change that God has given to us? God has done his part, he isn't a magician, our part is to vote. Lift up the spirit of patriotism. The ball is in our court #GodBlessNigeria |

Why I cancelled Lagos metroline project – Buhari By Abimbola Adelakun Thursday, 7 Apr 2011 View All ( Comment(s) Post Comment Send to friend Share Buhari The presidential candidate of the Congress for Progressive Change, Gen Muhammadu Buhari, has said he cancelled the proposed Lagos metro rail line project that was initiated by the government of Alhaji Lateef Jakande because he did not want to take more loans or devalue the naira. The Lagos metro rail line was designed by the Jakande government to facilitate transportation within Lagos and surroundings but was terminated when Buhari military regime took over in December, I983. Buhari, while speaking in Lagos on Wednesday at the presentation of his party manifesto, said when he got into power, the relatively stable economy, which was handed over to the government of Alhaji Shehu Shagari, had been badly plundered and corruption was rife in every sector. He added that the rail line project was meant to cost N100m, which was a large sum of money then, and the Federal Government was asked to guarantee the loan meant for the project. He said, “Then, we didn’t know how much debt was on us as a nation and we felt that we should not add another N100m to it. I had to set up two committees to assess how much we owed and we promised not to take more loans or to devalue the naira but to develop the economy.” Buhari argued that tagging him an enemy of Lagos State because he cancelled that project was mischievous and unfair, stating that the first one billion naira he spent when he was heading Petroleum Trust Fund was on Victoria Island and Ikoyi waterworks in Lagos. Earlier, in Ikoyi, while meeting with the youth Buhari told them it was important to vote wisely as their choice will affect their generations more than |

to my igbo brothers and sisters, our brother ichie, mazi, gen.buhari says ndewo As we welcome the year 2015, I have shared a message to Nigerians in general, but I find it crucial to send another message directly to Nigeria’s youth, who are the major stakeholders of this enterprise. The year 2014 was a challenging one for most citizens of our dear country. We remember our compatriots who were brutishly killed or maimed by evil terrorists in 2014. I remember with a still broken heart that 219 of our children from Chibok are yet missing, let down by a country that should protect them. I remember that, even as I speak, some of our towns and villages are yet under the occupation of Boko Haram. Yes, it is enough for you to despair. It is enough for you to wonder if your country cares about you and can protect you. But do not despair. 2015 has arrived at a time of great discomfort; but the beauty of the New Year is that we can look forward with renewed hope and the knowledge that things can and will change. In Nigeria’s case, we can truly look forward to the change that the elections can, and will, bring. Our country will be secure again. Our country will prosper again. I have faith that 2015 is the year we shall begin to write a new story - a story of our youth creating jobs and expanding the frontiers of innovation and creativity everywhere from Mavin Records to the Co-Creation Hub; a story of genuine investment in our children and students be they in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka or in the Delta State University, Abraka; a country that finally makes a permanent shift from our debilitating dependence on the free-falling price of crude oil. I have unshakeable faith that 2015 will be the year of change. Now some of you have asked me: what exactly does ‘change’ mean? I have taken time to explain this at different opportunities, but on this special day, let me remind you in five short statements. Change means: A country that you can be proud of at anytime and anywhere: where corruption is tackled, where your leaders are disciplined and lead with vision and clarity; where the stories that emerge to the world from us are full of hope and progress. A Nigeria in which neither yourselves, nor your parents, families or friends will have to fear for your safety, or for theirs. A Nigeria where citizens get the basics that any country should provide: infrastructure that works, healthcare that is affordable, even free; respect for the environment and sustainable development, education that is competitive and outcome- oriented in a knowledge-economy. A country that provides jobs for its young people, reducing unemployment to the lowest of single digits and providing safety nets so that no one is left behind. A Nigeria where entrepreneurship thrives, enterprise flourishes and the government gets out of your way so that you can create value, build the economy and aggressively expand wealth. Are these things truly possible? Of course. That is the essence and outcome of leadership, and that is what my party and I promise you as we get into 2015. My dear friends, this New Year, more than ever before, I am hopeful about Nigeria. Yes, you are disappointed and you are angry, as you are entitled to, but you must never give in to the temptation to feel so weighed down by those who have failed you that you lose your hope and your energy and your passion to see change. You must never give up on Nigeria. Together, we can build a nation that is secure, prosperous and gives everyone a fair chance. This is the promise that 2015 holds. That is the promise that change will bring. That is the promise that I bring to you. Once again, I wish everyone a happy and prosperous New Year. Thank you and God bless Nigeria

No academic certificates, no election for Buhari. We are in 2015 not 1962. Affidavit is no certificate. Buhari lied about his academic certificates. Buhari is a liar and lacks integrity. |

jamace:if it's not a political game. Then just ask yourself this question. Is this the first time he will be contesting in elections Is this the first time they will be requesting it from presidential candidates?? |
| Re: Campaign Thread For Buhari/osibanjo#apc #gmbvolunteers(pics) by jamace(m): 9:46am On Jan 02, 2015 |
Lexxybooy:You questions are too naive. Life is not constant hence political dynamics keep evolving. INEC is getting better in its performance day by day. Candidates are screened each time they appear not minding previous appearances. Are you saying that because Buhari is already known his credentials should not be scrutinised? The discovery that Buhari is using affidavit instead of academic certificates has rendered assumption dangerous. |
| Re: Campaign Thread For Buhari/osibanjo#apc #gmbvolunteers(pics) by Lexxybooy(op): 10:43am On Jan 02, 2015 |
jamace:I insist, my question here is, was he not screened in 2003? 2007? 2011? Why is it now that he has a chance of winning that all these now surfaces,? Why different blackmail here and there? Why are people again change? Noone is blackmailing Jonathan, it's all Nigerians can see, even the blind can see it. |
