Hi, my international passport has 3 months to expired and I also have 3 months visa on it to South American country please am asking if I will be allowed to travel with the passport or should I get a new passport. |

I think you can. I traveled to the US in Aug last year, and expiration date on my passport was Oct |

While you cannot apply for a visa (for most countries) with a passport that has less than six months to expiration, but a valid visa even in an expired passport is tender-able. Wondering how logical it is to have a valid visa in expired passport? Well, someone can apply for a long term visa (ie 2 years visa) with a passport that is 7 months to expiration...
