The year in review has come and gone with its many ups and downs, Nigerians managed to survive while the politicians and preachers had more money than they could spend. From so much money taken away from the federal savings to little or no significant development and the high level of insecurity in the country. Even the Nigerian music industry which seem to be the gold fish of the year performed badly based on projections and expectations. Deep down my thoughtful thoughts, I think 2014 with the rise of ebola and fall of naira was a bad year for Nigerians. Yesterday we celebrated the beginning of a new year with sweet and spirited messages coming in from our leaders and preachers, promises were made and Nigerians shared their expectations for the year in focus on different media ( here is a list of expectation by SureGuys http://blog.sureguys.com/nigeria/expectations-2015 ) The big question is "Will This Government Meet Our Expectations In 2015?" will they listen to our burning desire for a better Nigeria or continue to spend our money in ways that takes away it values? On the other hand, is their any way we can achieve these expectations for 2015 as a united Nigeria without the help of the government? |
