The NIgeria Military has 3 recruitment process, either through depot for non commissioned officers and privates, NDA for those with secondary school certificates or Direct short service commission for those with HND and BSc.

If Buhari said he attended Present day Barewa College amd the school has not denied that statement as a farce and the military acknowledged he was commissioned as a second lieutenant after he graduated from the NDA then it smack of illiteracy to even discuss this subject matter.

There is nothing to discuss about the topic like I said.

It is not the duty of barewa college or the army to respond to buhari hallucinations but for him to tender his certificate if he has one.

Service documents is different from academic records,i dont know why APC supporters feel he has been vindicated.How dumb,are you guys this anxious for a good news ya'll didnt even read the article.Heck! Even the service records is still based on speculation that "his records should be in the military archive" and NOT "the records are in the military archive".

Damn! What is so hard in presenting ones academic records to INEC not even the public? Even primary school cert? undecided

Maybe tinubu(the master forger)is on top the situation that is why its taking this long for him to show us his certificate.

Brigadier Lajide affirmed that the Nigerian Army is in possession of all records of serving, retired and deceased officers since its inception. He added, however, that all military officers are supposed to keep original copies of their certificates.

According to him, in the event where an officer loses his or her original copy of records, the concerned officer must officially apply for copies from the army. He stated that the army responds to such requests in an expeditious manner.

Brigadier Lajide told our correspondent that he was a former director of records at the Nigerian Army headquarters and had seen records of older and retired generals. He added that he was in no doubt that General Buhari’s records were intact.

Brigadier Olaleye insisted that the claim in a major Nigerian newspaper, that the army could not locate Mr. Buhari’s record was untrue.

Buhari claimed that the originals of his certificates were with the Military. The Military spokesman very clearly, from this Sahara Reporters 'report' , refutes that claim as a LIE!!! He only said that the records (read Photocopies? Or more likely, just Official/Service records??) of Senior military officials were in the military archives. He made no other claim that exonerates Buhari or APC from the mess are currently in.

This Propaganda piece by Sahara Reporters FAILS.

We await the General Or his party to present his certificates to Nigerians in other to put this matter to rest. Although, I expect the said certificates to be ten thoroughly scrutinized by Nigerians.

Some of you are just too provocative. When Vanguard first broke the news that the Military said they were never with Buhari's Certificate, you guys were celebrating. Now, a former Secretary of the Board has just confirmed that indeed there are some Certificates belonging to some Generals in the board, you're now here blabbing.

How are we sure you guys won't request for his Marriage Certificate if he displays his SSCE for the world to see?! You guys are only weeping in advance for the outgoing President, Jonathan!

From what I read, the army didn't confirm having Buhari's academic documents. They only claimed they have records of all serving officials past and present.
Let this be clear to all. So that if the military searches their archive and can't find any qualification ascribed to Buhari, APC won't come and start claiming they changed stance because of GEJ.

Everybody should note that the Army does not keep anybody’s original certificate because it is the personal property of the owner. Such original certificates are only needed at the point of entry into the service. However, the Military only keeps photocopies of credentials of officers and soldiers in their personal files that are in the military secretary’s office.

This one that Buhari is scared of showing us his academic certificate, I hope Buhari did not borrow certificate to join the army.
