A smart General will never swear to an affidavit(please go through the affidavit again!) claiming loss of an ORIGINAL certificate.Mischief makers could interpret as perjury if he later found it. GMB's case could be temporary misplacement or permanent loss of originals. 30 years or more is a lot of time to have misplaced anything!

But it is very unthinkable,unacceptable and highly mischievous to insinuate that GMB would have risen to become a General,without the required qualifications,he would have been dismissed since.The Army is a well disciplined institution.

But let's have this right. It is possible for one to use a fake result for an employment, grow in the job and retired. But it is difficult for such person to present the certificates when requested since fake certificate doesn't have original. As student, we witnessed when some students were expelled from school during result verification owing to the fact that they played their ways into the university through any means possible but could not present the original certificates when needed. He was a general in the army, we all know that. But where is the certificates he used to get enrolled into the military? Note also that, privileges were given to the core Northerners in the past to encourage them participate in the affairs of the nation despite their poor performances. Buhari might have being a beneficiary but feels ashamed to declare that openly. Besides, a whole lot of retired officers rose to higher ranks in the military with school cert. Which is below the constitutional academic qualifications of a would be president of this nation. I have a lot of then in my community who did not go to the college or secondary school, but rose to become colonels in the military. SHOW YOUR CERTIFICSTE oga general. End of discussion.

He's mandate to show proof that he has minimum qualification to be president (O' Level or its equivalent).

So far, he hasn't shown that.

He is not in any way exonerated by this declaration. He could have uses a forged, borrowed or lesser certificate than WASC statement of result when he enrolled. But, it is time to show the certificates. Remember, fake statement of result does not have original certificate which is needed in this regard. Show us the certificates now, sifini.

The bolded in blue says the military does not have Buhari's original certificate while the bolded in red says they only keep the photocopies. The source said the army doesn't have Buhari’s original certificates and the PRO corroborated his story. So I wonder which lie you are talking about.

Northerners are allowed to use a School Leaving Certificate to enroll in the military and security services just to fill their quota.

Some of them go ahead to remedy the situation and improve themselves later.

But Buhari has so far not been able to produce any certificate, not even a primary school certificate.

Nigerians need to see one from Buhari.

For your information,the minimum qualification according to the constitution is ''education(not even qualification) up to school cert level or equivalent.''
Moreover how can someone be so foolish to think that military would not have verified the originals of a certificate for more than the whole of a General's career?

Sambo claims his certificate were burnt and yet he could not use his position as the vice president to ask for a simple reprint PDP supporters didn't see all that. This is not the first time GMB is contesting, so the question we should be asking INEC is if GMB has been contesting all this time without a certificate if the answer is yes then we need to ask them WHY? Else they should use the previous copies they have. GMB should produce his secondary school certificate if he has them else...The Nigerian army claims they don't have his ORIGINALS no problem...all the courses GMB attended as a military officer all have original and the army issued them, so for the same army to now say they don't have any of his originals is funny even if the originals were issued to GMB in the first place.

We will always be the leaders of next tomorrow if we continue to allow the likes of GMB, GEJ, OBJ, etc to rule us enough of the grand pa's but the absence of an intelligent vibrant younger generation I think I will go for GMB. Goodluck has done well and he has tried, I need someone else as president to serve this great nation then we can compare.

This is my personal opinion, although I know we have a lot of kids on nairaland, so kids no insulting this is just my opinion if you have something contrary then let's hear your opinion.

GMB or GEJ......MAY THE BEST CANDIDATE WIN.
