Show his certificates to who exactly? You or INEC? I hope you're aware that even INEC cannot disqualify Buhari on basis of him not providing his certificates. That jurisdiction can be put forward only by his party APC so all these stories about certificate by you guys are just irrelevant.

99% of you are more interested in tarnishing his image than confirming whether he is qualified or not. Three things that you should stick to your head are:

1) Buhari is not going to be disqualified by INEC no matter how many threads are opened on Nairaland.

2) GEJ has shown that having academical qualifications is not synonymous to providing good leadership.

3) If you're really interested in Buhari's certificate, go to APCs head office and ask why they cleared Buhari to contest when he had no certificates. You can also take APC to court.

I hope you have cash for the courts.

Hahahahh.... To start with, I don't take news from Saharareporters seriously. Also, I observed how the writer tried to confuse us by using academic records and certificates interchangeably, obviously to make it look like they are the same.... Lol
Are they saying the military keep photocopies of every certificate they give to their officers, this is getting more interesting and embarrassing.

I have no doubts that Buhari probably attended those trainings and all, what I doubt is if he was ever certified after all the trainings. It is one thing to say I went to the University, it is another thing to say I graduated. Did he really graduate and like everyone else got certified, simple. There is so much hypocrisy and lip service in the so-called corruption crusader stance of the APC man.

We are not children that can be bamboozled with shenanigans, if anything this particular saga is putting dirt to Buhari's alleged incorruptible hype around him. This is where the true test of honesty comes to play, the same goes for the minions supporting him and raining insults on people that think Buhari is an overrated underachiever.

What this will mean is that through out his career he has largely depended on nepotism to progress in his career, all that toga of discipline and zero tolerance to corruption seem to only take effect when the subject is not Buhari. So much for the touted change. This is looking to be the greatest lie ever told and wanting to be told. Submit your certificate like everyone else and stop the side talk and distractions from paid journalists.

What has change here? people are insinuating that the military was not able to keep record, and they came out and say no, we have all the records but we are not with any body original documents. they went further to ask who soever want their documents should apply officially. now the question is why has Buhari not done that, is it that the result is not presentable, f9 all through? we want to see it as required by law and that will save us from many things. But if he cannot, he should do the needful, simply withdraw his candidature.

I made up my mind not to say anything on this Buhari certificate issue but I need to correct you on your assertion @bolded.
The essence of pasting the notice on the inec notice board is for the whole world to take note. That is why notice of marriage is pasted for 30 days at the registry for any objection from the public etc.
On the topic, the army has not said anything different from what gmb said, they are expected to have records of all their officers but not their original certificates the same way my primary, secondary, university, law school, NYSC, working places should have my academic records and photocopies of my certificates while I keep the originals.
Even now that I employ people, I only collect photocopies after sighting the original certificates.
