Not yet sir. The issue is that General said his certificates are with military board but the military is saying that the copies should be there like that of others. So where are the originals? He should have them. Again the military corroborated what I said in the other thread that he should have applied for his copies from the military. They treat such request with dispatch they said and there is no need for an affidavit. What is stopping him from requesting? Why did he go for affidavit instead of applying for copies of his documents.

Bros, the military never said "the affidavit was unnecessary". This Ís your own interpretation. Rightly, the Military acknowledged that they have certificates of officers and went further to say "originals should be with the officers". "Should be" reflect the norm but Buhari is saying His own are with the Military. Whether original, copy or whatever, the question is "Are his credentials with the military board according to his affidavit?" Another question is "did the military refute his certificate claim?". His party are bound by law to check these things, ÍNEC have said that whoever have objection should come out. It is left for mischief makers to prove their case (if any). For now, I see no issue here.

The military said "they should have" since he is retired officer not that they have. "They have" means they have checked and confirmed.

The questions I would like you to answer is, Buhari knew he could get his documents copied for him with despatch if he applied, why did he prefer to apply for an affidavit instead of his documents?

If his originals have issues, why did he not mention it? Military said the keep photocopies not originals.

If you are to see him now, wouldn't you ask him to get those stuff from the military?

What if GEJ was is in the General's position, would you have acted differently from GEJ supporters?

"IF" and "IF"... Like I said, the general made a submission, it is for the army to deny the claim if they found it false. He may choose to apply or swear to affidavit, that is his prerogative. As long as he acted within the law I don't see any issue. If I'm to see him, I won't ask him non issue like this certificate ish, because I have no reason to doubt him. Also knowing that the APC is the appropriate quarter for such probe or the military, I won't bother disturbing the general. If it was GEJ I will maintain same position as long as his claim isn't refuted by the appropriate authority
