80% of topics in the politics section are about Buhari. This man is really causing some pple sleepless nights.
Buhari this, Buhari that........
Even before the polls, he's more popular than GEJ.

My advice to GEJ supporters is to leave Buhari alone and work on campaigning for their boss not mudslinging.

He wasn't the "change" they wanted. But once the man turn 74, joined ACN to form APC and agreed not to prosecute past leaders aka Tinubu ole and co; he then metamorphosed to be Mr Saint and anti corruption man... hence his new supporters. Op, is that good enough?

Why the sudden support for buhari in few years?

Good question. Let me try to answer on their behalf. lol.

Okay,
In 2003- GEJ wasn't contesting for President.
In 2007, GEJ wasn't contesting for President, and the President in 2003 wasn't contesting for President either.
Okay, in 2011- GEJ did contest for President, right, but he didn't contest for President in 2007 as well, did he?

Now...
In 2015- Everyone can & has seen GEJ's scorecard! He wants to REMAIN President. He is contesting, again!
Now based on his performances, does he deserve it?
If you say he doesn't, that means you want CHANGE, right?
Now who deserves the CHANCE to bring about the CHANGE you seek?

This is my humble logomarchy, without loqua partia. I thus rest my case.

The people were deceived with religion and name of the one who has become so clueless as his wife. But now the people are tired of his cluelessness and they want change.

Vote Buhari/Osibanjo 2015-2019

The new supporters are mostly from south-west. A region best known as slaves to the North.

They can only deceive gullible people on social media. The battle in the field is way different.

it is an obvious fact that the south west is the most learned, unbiased, sophisticated, moral and peace loving region in Nigeria, we voted for GEJ in 2011 not knowing how clueless he is and how much hes cluelessness will cost us. But now we know better and won't make the same mistake again

Nigerians wanted change! Nobody wanted the old general in 2003 or in 2007 especially when there was an option of a well learned university lecturer (Yaradua).

In 2011, Nigerians wanted change again and opted for the humble Jonathan (who had no shoes). Jonathan to everyone had all the trappings of the much awaited change Nigerians prayed for. He was the first Nigerian president without any direct links to the military mafia and he enjoyed massive goodwill from all regions of Nigeria. Nigerians also being very spiritual, believed that the kind of luck and favour which followed goodluck would be rubbed off on the country; how wrong we were.

Fastforward to a few years later and Jonathan proved himself not only to be extremely incompetent and clueless in his approach to leadership, he also erroneously surrounded himself with the worst of the worst vultures that had plundered and ruined Nigeria over the decades. The goodwill of the people brought him to power but immediately he took over the reign, he sided with the evil cabal (who ironically were against him in 2010 when Yaradua was sick).

To cut the long story short, Nigerians are tired of GEJ and the old general is the only alternative at this time. The only supporters Jonathan still has are office holders benefitting from corruption and people from the SE and SS who are just being tribally sentimental.

You are indeed an infant especially with the bolded part!!!

Go and ask those who are older than you which region have been political ally of the North until recently.....It is the SE and the SS

Infact Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe of blessed memory knowing fully well he could never become the President deliberately and tactically spoilt Chief Obafemi Awolowo's chance of becoming the President or even the Vice President when Awolowo proposed that both he and Zik should form a political alliance to oust the Northerners......Awolowo even accepted to be the Vice President to Azikiwe but Zik not only shunned Awolowo,he also leaked the letter( which detailed the Offer of Alliance that should be formed between both of them) Awolowo sent to him through his Private Secretary Odia Ofeimum

When some of you who must have been told falsified history talk, one should really pity you because you know no better!

PLEASE READ:

The first attempt was in 1964. Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe’s National Council of Nigerian Citizens (NCNC), which had been a junior partner in the Federal Government with Sir Ahmadu Bello’s Northern People’s Congress (NPC) since 1959, decided to team up with Chief Obafemi Awolowo’s opposition party, the Action Group (AG) in the general election of that year. The NCNC and AG then formed the United Progressive Grand Alliance (UPGA) to unseat the NPC. At the end of the election, the NPC had succeeded in rigging itself back to power. Without any hesitation, NCNC leaders went back to the NPC in a new coalition government. They told the nation that the alliance with the Action Group was a mere political alliance, but the coalition with the NPC was to form a government.

Again in 1983, Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe’s Nigerian Peoples Party whose members had been in President Shehu Shagari’s NPN Federal Government since 1979 decided to team up with Awolowo’s Unity Party of Nigeria (UPN); Waziri Ibrahim’s Great Nigeria Peoples Party (GNPP) and Comrade Michael Imoudu’s Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) for the purpose of unseating Shagari’s government in the presidential election of that year. They came together under the banner of Progressive Parties Alliance (PPA). But they could not agree on who would be their presidential candidate. Awolowo wanted to run, so did Azikiwe and Waziri. At the same time, Shagari who was sure of his victory assured Dr. Azikiwe and his NPP that he would give them ‘juicy’ positions if he was returned to power. Being thus wooed away from the PPA, Dr. Azikiwe described himself as a beautiful bride torn between different suitors. In the end, Shagari won the election and fulfilled his promise by appointing NPP members into his cabinet.

If you understand anything from the excerpt i posted you will noticed that from time immemorial Dr Azikiwe the leader of the Igbos had always broken all the attempt to form alliance with Chief Awolowo, even when they did form an alliance,Zik always backed out(betrayed the cause) to align politically with the North

Now it seems that the SE is obviously and deliberately making itself political orphans with the mistake of thinking they can hijack a Minority SS man who is the President to insult the North and the SW

In your mind if you are mature, can a people you insult daily and ridicule ever trust you to form political alliance with you?........SE have aligned with the SS leaving the SW to also aligned with the North

In the end ,it will all boil down to which regions can deliver the highest numbers of votes to the candidate they are supporting

I'm just discovering that being "most learned", "sophisticated", and "unbiased" doesn't necessarily mean you can't be enslaved.

I recently learned it when APC with a strong hold on south-west can ignore their "performer" (Fashola) and bow down for a 72 years old ex military rule.

And my learning is further cemented when against all odds, the "most learned " region doesn't mind an illiterate presiding over them. It's baffling to say the least.

I'm still learning everyday. The happenings in Nigeria is actually surprising. Only a break up would suffice because all regions are advocating for their interest and their slavemasters interest.

Anything that would lead to the disintegration of Nigeria, we're in with our hearts and souls.

When the people we supported has failed us, they have all proved to us that we made a serious mistake by supporting them instead of him.

Are you satisfied with the answer?

southwest is no slave to any one, it can't and won't happen. We're only been reasonable, Fashola's popularity does not go beyond the region, hence he's not yet capable to contest for presidency. All the region is trying to do is to maintain a united Nigeria, if not we'll have insisted on our own candidates. We believe that we'll be a great nation on our own if Nigeria decides to disintegrate and there's no doubt about it.
Our choice of Buhari is because of his past record and competence, same thing we thought for GEJ but he has failed woefully, also Buhari's popularity, he's the only one that can give GEJ a run for his money. So please get it right, we're too enlightened to be a slave to anyone

Is this not myopic? You abuse people and you expect them to support your causes. You destroy the chances of your candidate and put the blame everywhere but where it belongs. Let me borrow berem's phrase: Ndi ara, (though I don't know what it means).
