From what I read, the report never "indicted" Muhammadu Buhari nor the PTF. It only accused the APC (company) of sharp practices in terms of inflated figures. According to the report, the APC short-changed PTF in executing some project ie a contractor short-changes a government agency. Who is to be held responsible? Was the process that led to the hiring of APC transparent? Were the contracts bided for in a mytransparent and legal manner? Why didn't the government work on the report and bring those found wanting to justice (if any)? Did Buhari promote his own interests in all these? When has operating 3 different accounts for 3 different units become a crime? Contracts is awarded through bidding process, did the APC follow the process before they were awarded? Did they execute the projects? Did they loot the monies? Was there kickbacks? From the report, I see no case against PTF and APC. If there is, I challenge the government to dig up the file and prosecute them.

PDP should give it up. Buhari is a clean slate
my friend shot up your mouth who appoint those agencies is he not the president then time has come when we should call a spade a spade not because we're benefiting from one person then we use that avenue to conclude others opinion

Buhari and Corruption.

This man Buhari, terminated Nigeria's democracy in 1983 and told the youths that they were leaders of tomorrow. Thirty two years after, he still struggles with the youths for leadership of Nigeria.

Buhari was the ideologue of Abacha regime - Buhari approved things Abacha did, because Abacha was sick most of the time.

That regime was the most corrupt ever in Nigeria's history.

Millions of dollars/pounds stolen by that regime from Nigeria and kept in foreign banks made foreigners weep for Nigeria when the monies were discovered after Abacha's death. Buhari saw it all, breathed it all, ate it all.

But a few years after Abacha's death, Buhari insulted Nigerians when he told them that late Abacha was not corrupt.

From Buhari's PTF to Buhari's Petroleum Commission, this man Buhari remains one of the biggest players that have made Nigeria remain a crawling giant today.

And worse, Buhari today tells some uninformed Nigerians that he is an anti-corruption man.

We know there is mark-up on every item by the contractor which is ordinarily not out of place unless it has gone beyond pre-agreed rate. Just calling attention to that, not justifying inflated contracts, if truly inflated.

If I can build a house for N10m with direct labour and supervision, if I hire a contractor, he won't spend same N10m. He would probably spend as much as N15m.

But more importantly, why did THISDAY not tell us why the "committee members were changed before verification"?

That is a very important info THISDAY may deliberately have left out, not to dent the believability of the story.

It may interest readers that the Chairman of this Obasanjo committee, Haroun Adamu, ended up to be the one found wanting at the end of that "probe".Rather than Buhari, it was the "prober" that was jailed for looting $100m of PTF funds. When he came out of prison, he wrote a book to confess that their brief was to disgrace General Buhari.

Well compared to the quantum of mismanagement and corruption under GEJ 6 years rule, this is really insignificant. Indeed the strategist of the PDP's will result to seeing the eviction of their party number one man from Aso Rock, because all there are doing and probably will ever do is to lay empty accusations on GMB while he sweeps all votes from under their watch. I personally believe Buhari is less corrupt than Ebele Jonathan, I also believe that the people general have the needed capacity to challenge and fight corruption that have so eaten deep into the Nigeria economy than Jonathan and the entire sets of looters in the PDP. Stating the obvious, GMB is the best available option on ground as for now to pilot and reconstruct the rot our dear country have gotten into. GMB please come fill our prisons with corrupt government officers! The thieves and looters should only be the ones afraid for the forth forming changes, changes each and every well meaning Nigerians should be eagerly look forward to.

[color=#1980BC] How is it that opinions won't see the corrupt odium emanating from buhari as regards this issue because "he hasn't been convicted or worse" some would even go as far implying that over-inflation of contracts (a strong pillar of financial embezzlement in our national life) is not corruption but would still heap refuse on GEJ because of the actions of an LG chairman,State Government or any big wig for that matter or that of his 'stealing isn't corruption' statement?....isn't this hypocrisy of the highest order??...You cannot fight corruption when your entire carreer military or political appointment benefits from it. Shun hypocrisy Mr man. Who is the head of the PTF as at then? If you people will shamelessly accuse GEJ of corrupt practices done by civil servants he don't even know, what of ordinary parasstatal. This has shown that Buhari is incapable to rule Nigeria.
Does he have prosecutorial powers as head of PTF, either directly or indirectly?

Avoid heavy food which has excess calorie or starch. Always have snacks, Ultra Thin Completethis is especially for obesity people and must have plenty of water. Taking rest in improper manner can cause gain of excess fat. If you sleep for long hour, there would be no loss of excess energy and that excess energy can change into storage of fat and results in obesity. The only way to burn excess calorie is regular exercise. If someone is looking how to lose weight fast then make a diet chart according to dietician and should join gym to get look good naked. To get a look good naked body, you have to be self confident. To get rid of excess fat, the simplest way is to jog for 1hour daily or exercise which will make you perfect look by removing excess energy. http://www.muskelaufbauhilfe.com/ultra-thin-complete/
Re: How Obasanjo’s Report Indicted Buhari In 1999 by chemali: 6:57am On Jan 07, 2015
Obasanjo contested against Buhari in 2003, this report did not surface even though the election was rigged. In 2007, Buhari contested against an OBJ candidate, same for 2011 and this report did not exist. 2 years ago, a pro GEJ website came up with this report and called it exclusive. In 2015, one Ojo Maduekwe in thisday "obtained" this report and called it exclusive. What does this show?
There is a high likelihood that this report was concocted to tarnish Buhari's image based on tabloid gossip available at that time like the $2.8billion claim that was found to be baseless. Why would thisday claim exclusivity to junk that has been on the Internet for more than two years save to propagate the lies in the public sphere.

Thank God that yet again our nation has
assembled a duo that evokes strong
following like Abiola & Kingibe did in
1992/93. The APC duo of Buhari/Osinbajo are
men of unrivaled integrity, their strongest
enemies cannot remove from that reality nor
can the hate by Jonathanians taint their
credibility.
Whilst unveiling the GEJ campaign in Lagos,
I heard the President’s jester Doyin Okupe
who had the temerity to compare a
Separatist/Sectional President Goodluck
Jonathan with Jesus Christ, Doyin forgets that
there is always a limit to luck. Doyin talked
about the need to continue with the Nigeria
of the now rather than going back to the
Nigeria of the 80s. Curiously the Chairman
of the event Richard Akinjide is in his 80s
about 10years older than Buhari; the
Chairman of GEJ’s Presidential Declaration
jamboree that took place a day after almost
100 kids were barbecued in Yobe by the
Haramists, Bello Haliru is in his 80s, Anenih
in his 80s, Edwin Clark in his 80s & before
politics tore them apart rather recently
Bamanga Tukur is over 80years. Truth be
said the PDP is a Party of Old horses & turks,
their contentious primaries yet wreaks of
bad blood telling the level of individualism
& selfishness that underscores the character
of that Party.
GEJ has made corruption and fraud States-
craft and elevated lying and perfidy to State
Art. This regime yet pays subsidy for fuel
even when everywhere in the world the
price of fuel is falling since the steady drop
in global Oil price, in Cotonou from 435CFA
fuel price has fallen to 255CFA but in Jona’s
Nigeria nothing changes. Sad.
•Pls read up..What is Truth? II
CONTENT OF THE CHARACTER PLEASE, NOT
CREED OR CLAN III.
SAY NO TO CORRUPTION.
Did u know that d Lekki-Ikoyi link Bridge
constructed by d APC led govt is 1.36km
long?
Did u also know that d 2nd Niger Bridge
awarded by d PDP led govt is 1.5km long?
Whilst d Lekki-Ikoyi link Bridge was
constructed for N29b, d 2nd Niger Bridge
was awarded for a whooping sum of N117b.
NOW is d time for a BALLOT based
REVOLUTION b4 GEJ & d men who donated
22B in 1day to his campaign buy up Nigeria.
I AM NOT A FAN OF OBJ but cannot deny the
TRUTH.
“It is better for Buhari to come to power in
2015 and jail me, than for Jonathan to come
back and destroy the remaining Nigeria.”
– Obasanjo in his book ‘My Watch’
I will rather return to d 1980s than to ride
on a reverse gear in d 2000s. A reverse gear
down d path of unbridled corruption;
infrastructural decay; terror & insurgency;
poverty & joblessness; false statistics & deceit;
darkness & power outage; & down d reverse
gear where only JONATHANIANS falsely see
progress.
I CHOOSE DEEP & RESEARCHED FACTS over
BANAL SENTIMENTS.
Doyin Okupe said that Buhari/Osinbajo will
take Nigeria back to d 80s if elected. So
what? If they can’t make d 2000s
worthwhile who doesn’t want back the 80s?
In d Nigeria of d 1980s, we slept in
considerable safety. In d Nigeria of d 80s,
our Naira was at par with d dollar. In d
Nigeria of d 80s, we had roads, schools,
hospitals & infrastructures that were better
managed, & electricity was relatively
constant.
As a realistic alternative to d present malaise
& d cesspool of ill-rule which GEJ epitomises,
I want Buhari/Osinbajo becos I’m sure that
they shall lead d WAR against corruption &
reposition Nigeria for d hope we seek, a
reality that scares GEJ’s funders.
God Bless Nigeria.

Last elections, he didn't buy any form. He created his own party prior to elections. He didn't share rice or money for people to vote for him so where was the "so-much money" spent?
